Your standard gigabit switch. I needed more ports for my router and this did the trick. Maintains good speed as advertised for all my hardwired devices. It is also cheaper than its competitors.

the switch does what I bought it for- connects several devices to the primary switch at gigabit speeds. the form factor is smaller than the picture would suggest.

I had an older switch but speeds have increased enough that the only smart thing was to update to a newer one. They couldn't be easier. They are truly plug and play and as long as you don't need proper router functions they are great.

Does what it needs to do, easy to use and looks very professional and modern. Price was good and reputable brand.

Worked out of the box. Used this as a remote switch to provide additional Ethernet Ports to a location that only had one wall port available. Fired right up and worked well with the existing D-Link business grade unmanaged switches.

This is a simple extender of plugs for an ethernet connection. It do not have marked an enter and exits, so consider it a 1 input-4 output ethernet connection hub. I have a console, a smart TV, and a computer entering this hub, and works fine. Usually they do not operate at same time, so personally I do not need traffic management.

Wireless is great but I like to hardwire my stuff when possible computer, game system, tv, was only getting about a third of my internet speed until I purchased this now speeds are at full go and the setup was a breeze

I bought this Netgear switch. It was plug-and-play and worked great. There is no slow-down in speed, either. I would recommend it to anyone needing more ethernet connections.

Just what I needed. Wanted Gigabit speed for TV, Sat Box, Xbox360, and blu-ray player on new higher speed Internet connection. Now I finally can watch Netflix with no buffering issues. Good value for price. Also used other item purchased, Cat 6 wire, for all connections.

It does what you need it to do. I have a few older items that can’t connect through Wifi and this is a great way to keep everything connected with only 1 wire going into living room. Easy to install and use. Does a great job.

I needed to replace an old ethernet switch which stopped working. The new Netgear unit supports faster network speeds, was easy to install, and doesn't take up much space on my desk, due to the option to mount it vertically. It has been working well since I installed it.

This unit is "plug n play". Requires no setup or software. I simply plugged a cat5 cable into the switch from my router and connected multiple computers to the switch. It all worked instantly. Have had no trouble, no necessary rebooting. Speed is great.

Works great. This gig switch is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Probably will get an additional one to take on trips so the kids' XBoxes can be wired instead of wireless.

this is a plug and play device it works perfect, I use it grabbing one connection 30 feet away to my living room and plug a computer, a smart TV, a wi-fi extender and my dvd player, works perfect with no slow down.

I bought this after switching internet providers. My modem has two Ethernet outputs, but I have 5 requiring direct connection. This product was easy to set up and passes fast wired connection to the devices from my modem.

I needed to distribute the internet to several gaming systems and computers in a room away from my wifi. I combined this router with a Netgear Powerline adapter. Plenty of speed and now have reliable internet in a room with weak wifi.

Wanted something to connect more gigabyte devices to my network. It worked flawlessly out of the box. Love the light coding, amber for 10/100 connections and green for gigabyte connections. All auto sensing.

I bought this gigabit switch because I hated the black color of my old switch. This white one is small, and ascetically pleasing to the eye since it sits on my desk. Also, hard wiring all my devices makes everything run faster when streaming videos.

My home network uses a few of these around the house and I've never had any issues. Plug in a device and it's connected to the network. No surprises. Examples of connected devices are TV, cable boxes, TiVo, computer, printer, PS4.
