Easy setup. Needed more ports for the modem to hook up other internet capable devices and this works great. No need to manage the device, but you can. I just went simple and plugged everything in.

My new home has Ethernet wiring throughout. I needed a switch to expand from my cable modem to the outlets in the house. I haven't noticed any problems with connectivity or speed and the resulting hard wired connections are always better than WiFi.

The install directions make it seem a little difficult because it doesn’t actually say where to plug in your router or internet line into the switch. Watched a You Tube video, couldn’t have been any easier. There are 5 ports, plug your router into any of the ports and then plug in your devices into any of the 4 remaining and works perfectly. It’s an easy way to get a wired line to your smart tv in case your wifi isn’t strong enough to give a good signal.

I have 1 Ethernet cable in my A/V closet, but 3 components. This switch allowed all my devices to be hardwired to the internet, with 2 slots for future use. Great price,(on sale) and simple, just plug and play.

Does exactly what it says. Cheap cost, but great performance! I bought in-store at a local best buy. Easy setup as it's a simple plug and play. (Yes it's that simple). And for reference, my DL. speeds are over 150mhps, so it doesn't cap.

After purchasing a home with Network, I needed a simple way to route main feed to several locations. The unit was small and easy to mount in Network Box. It was very simple to have up and running in no time.

If you want to share an Ethernet connection, switches like these can be the perfect solution. At $25, this is a fantastic value for most folks. Compact, cool running, quiet, and pretty inexpensive - definitely five stars in my book

I picked this up a few weeks back and it works great. My modem is two rooms away and I didn't want to have so many wires running through my house. This did the trick. It's minimally invasive. I would recommend it for home use!

My old four port switch failed after years of faithful service. This Netgear model was the perfect plug and play replacement. I have a small home office network wired with BlueRay and XBOX One. Works great with no setup required.

Needed to get a switch port to directly connect my computers in the office. Perfect for that purpose and the speed is so much faster than wireless. Been using it for over a month now and haven't had any issues. Recommend.
