Just what I expected. Easy to install and connect up to home network. I needed a simple unmanaged switch to connect up a few devices on my internal LAN. This did the trick.

This is a very inexpensive and simple Ethernet switch. Plug up your Ethernet wires and power connector and your good to go. Being a gigabit switch it can handle most cable internet connections and be at full speed.

Works as advertised. I used this when wiring my first floor family room to connect a PS4 and 4K Sony TV. It also leaves a few ports available within easy access to connect a laptop when wi-fi just isn’t enough.

Needed to expand my gaming system with some peripherals and this did the trick. Easy install and works great. No longer need to plug and unplug. Highly recommend this solution if you have the same problem.

Using this on an Xfinity gateway to add more ports. The switch was very easy to setup and speeds are great! Currently being used on a Gigabit Xfinity connection, very satisfied.

This device is a life saver, I needed more ports for my laptop and printer and this little switch adds 4 extra ports on top of the 4 ports on the router. Simple setup just plug any play.

Perfect switch when you only have a few devices to connect. If you have 5 connections or less, the switch is perfect. Had good throughput, small size, and for a good price.

This had everything I needed. The multiple ports have allowed me to have everything I need hooked up hard wired so I have no lag while trying to complete task online.

No complaints. I use it to link my Verizon cellular network extender, Xbox One, Denon AV receiver, and "Smart" TV to my cable internet modem. No special setup needed, was all plug and play. This replaced a power-line base Ethernet access point. We were experiencing occaisional (once a week?) dropouts in Netflix or online gaming with the power line device. It seems to have cleared up with the new Netgear switch. Only regret is there are no spare ports left. Will need to buy an 8 port if anything is added to the system. Don't forget you need a port for the uplink!

I've used other Netgear products and have always been satisfied with their performance. This unit is no different. It fits perfectly in my enclosure and has helped distribute ethernet connectivity through out my whole house.

Bought this for use with my home theater where I have a tv, nas, nvidia shield, and denon receiver connected to my home network. It’s plug and play and has been functioning well.

I use these at all of my clients locations. It just works. extremely easy to setup and no configuration required. At this price point at the store close to you it can't be beat.

The router provided by my cable provider only contained 4 slots, with home phone, printers, satellite, and home computers I just needed more space. This product is easy to use and provided the extra space I needed.

Had to change cable modem, the new one had only two outputs and I use 3-4 so purchased this to meet the need. Was easy to hook up and set up and have had no issues with it todate

With my home network, I am limited on the number Ethernet ports I have in my router. This box quickly and easily added more ports for other smart home items I have purchased. I did not add any streaming items to this, so I cannot speak of how much it would slow things down. My smart home items work as effectively as they did before being through the switch.

This is a basic Ntetgear switch -- use it when you need to "multiply" Ethernet ports. In my case, I needed to join multiple devices to a network extender, and this fit the bill. Pros: Not too expensive, minimal setup, does what it claims. Cons: Feels cheaply made -- nothing but plastic. The snow-white color seems to attract dirt and, after a month, has become slightly discolored.
