Good enough to keep
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It turned out when I got home I didn't really need this but I just had to keep it anyway because when I did use it it work perfectly and the price was not so high that it's better to keep it around whenever so when I need it I've got it and since it's a product I bought from Best Buy I know it won't just be obsolete in a year or two

Perfect for home theaters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a home theater set-up in my living room, which is on the opposite side of the house from my router/modem. I have mesh WiFi throughout my home, but when it comes to streaming video and gaming, I want to hard wire in those systems with an Ethernet cable. So, I purchased this small switch to manage those devices. It's been the perfect addition to the home theater set-up. It has worked flawlessly and because it's so small, I was able to attach it to the back of my entertainment stand using command adhesive strips. I get a very strong signal from my main modem and it's not failed at all since I installed this almost a year ago.

Great simple network switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a switch for a confined location in a home networking cabinet. This switch worked great due to the small power wart. Getting 900Mbs across this switch within the house

An inexpensive way to expand your network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A wonderful device for expanding your network. Setup is simple, power it up, connect to your router, and you've got 4 more ports. No configuration, no settings, no nothing. Cannot recommend too highly.

Great Switch, Does its Job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All that was needed was to take one Ethernet cable that was going to the back of my Xbox and be able turn it into three. Purchased the switch, took it out of the box, plugged a supply wire in and three wires out...everything worked first try. The only thing worth noting is I had an expectation that there would be a port labeled input and then the others labeled output. This was not the case, all I did was plug my supply out of the wall into the first port (labeled 1) and the others out ports 2,3 & 4 and everything worked as I hoped. Good product. Takes up little more space than a deck of cards would. You do need a power supply though, so keep that in mind.

Another excellent Netgear product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Netgear is my go-to brand because of the price and quality. The 5-port Ethernet switch is no different. An outstanding product for a great price. Just plug and play, it's that simple.

Great Switch...and, for the price, even better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a switch, and it does what it's supposed to do. I already had one switch, which has my AV equipment connected to it. However, having gotten a LaserJet Pro, to go alongside my Epson InkTank printer, I needed another switch to have them both connected (I prefer Ethernet over Wi-Fi, whenever possible). Netgear makes quality product, and the price was right (currently, Best Buy's second cheapest switch). That, combined with it being Best Buy's highest-rated switch, made the decision a "no-brainer". Now, if you're wanting/needing a 5-port switch, quit reading...and go buy it.

Simple, easy, gigabit switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a simple 5 port switch. By plugging in the cable from your router you are left with 4 ports. Still enough ports to hook up most items in a home setting. Good product for the price.

Sleek and fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed this switch to extend the number of Ethernet connections on my Apple Airport Extreme. The Netgear nicely matches the look of the Airport and works flawlessly and quietly. A very good value overall.

So far, works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this switch to replace an aging wireless router that I was using as a switch and this thing works hands down 100% better. Very impressed. It's simple, but works great.

Very Easy to use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed some additional ports when we finished our basement. Simple connection from router to switch, and then the basement connections just plugged in to the switch. Getting roughly 950+mb/s on the Xbox Series X downstairs. Virtually a plug and play device for your network needs
