I needed this to extend my router and provide wired internet for my kids to prevent dropouts while homeschooling. This did the trick perfectly. Ran Ethernet cable behind floorboard molding along walls and plugged this in by both of their desks.

    Great Switch for small applications

These switches are economical and work great for small office applications. I use these switches to drive my office component once the Ethernet is brought into the room. I have one driving my office computer, printer, scanner and auxiliary devices. I have a second switch to connect my television components.

    Good desktop switch

Simple and inexpensive desktop switch: cable ports are at the back, LEDs at the front. Unlike business switches, there is no way to tell if your connection is gigabit but does it really matter? The switch casing is made of plastic but doesn't cry cheap and actually looks pretty good. I'm satisfied with this purchase but I am rating this switch 4-star only because it is good - very good indeed - but maybe not totally outstanding.

I bought this because I like to run all of my devices on copper instead of wifi.I used one to allow all of my gaming consoles and smart TVs. I ended up going back and getting a second one for a few other devices. They both work like a charm and easy to install!

Not much to say other than it works perfectly and I haven't had any problems. I took it out of the box, plugged in my ethernet cables and everything worked. I was a bit skeptical because it was cheaper than a model somebody suggested, but I'm glad I got this one. I'm using it to network two computers in my music studio.

Purchased this product for small office unit that needed to connect multiple devices and the router didn't have enough ports and was wireless. But nobody likes wireless and the signal problems always exist. So we ran ethernet cables to this switch and it was all plug and play.

This is a replacement unit for an older one I had, which died and had lower transfer rate. I might be seeing improved online gaming for my PS4 on this but I have yet to speed test it with a high-end computer that is also plugged on it. This unit is a little larger and the plastic is bulkier (a little less stealthy than the other it replaces).

I have had this switch for several months and it has worked perfectly. I only have one open port at this point and all devices connected to this switch are working as they are supposed to work. Some of these devices are passing video streams and the switch has had no problems in handing this type of data transmission.
