I purchased the Netgear 5-Port Gigabit Switch since I had recently changed WiFi routers and needed the ports to support wired devices. This device couldn't be easier to use, just plug it in and connect the wired devices and restart your router/modem and you're done! It's truly "plug & play"

I have Gigabit internet and wanted hard line to all of my game consoles and TV. This simple switch is perfect. I work in IT and I am impressed that it provides fantastic speeds over all the ports. If I get more devices. I’ll definitely buy a second one.

I picked this up along with the NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S router, NETGEAR CM500 modem, and the NETGEAR Powerline 1000. All of this is to use with my HDHomerun to cut some cost, and give COMCAST their boxes back. I have no issues with the switch, and its unmanned which means literally plug and play.

This device is simple to use. Just plug it in and you're done. I have a combination of WiFi and hardwired devices. I've had problems in the past with unreliable switches and routers. This switch has worked great. It doesn't look bad sitting downstairs on the shelf either. After plugging it in, I haven't had to touch it.

This is an excellent product. The 5 ports are excellent for expanding your ability to hardwire more devices in your house, whether that makes you feel safer or to take stress off of your WiFi router. Quality made product.

This is simple a plug and play device, plug in the power cord and network cables. That's it! It does it's job just like the cables were plugged into the router. I use this box as a hub for my wired devices to my new Mesh Router system. Perfect the first time!!

With my wife working from home along with me this thing saved us! Cox only allows for two Ethernet ports into their router so that didn’t help anything. This gave us the extra ports needed and have had no issues EVER

Surprisingly simple; true plug and play. I was adding a router to manage my kids' internet access but had no ports available on my U-Verse provided router. This ethernet switch was perfect. I simply plugged it in, added the ethernet cables, and everything simply worked without any fuss.

Switch sits on a shelf with cables coming up from the back. Having the lights on the opposite side of the plugs makes it a clean install while still being able to see connectivity/activity. Cool to the touch with all 5 ports active. Great for SO/HO installation.

I upgraded from an older switch because I was capping out at 100 Mbps. This worked for getting me up to the rated speeds my ISP said I should be getting through my computers when plugged directly into the modem.

The Ethernet switch works exactly as it should and flawlessly. Everything works just as fast as it would if hooked up to the main router in my apartment. If you have a bunch of equipment that needs a hard wire definitely choose this Ethernet switch for organizational and performance reasons.

I liked the idea that it’s small, yet very straightforward. It functions great and handles multi-connection with ease. The speed is never an issue and so far, it produces a stable network connectivity. It’s a great buy for a price.

This switch is gigabit speed and does what you need it to. Not manageable, but all we wanted to do was set it and forget it, been running a couple months now with no problem. If I find I need another desktop switch, I will grab another one of these!

I bought two of these, and I'm not the most computer savvy person out there. These were extremely easy to install. They literally are plug and play out of the box, with zero configuration required.
If you need a simple switch that is low cost, this is a great choice!
