My house is wired for internet. Each room has one jack but I need two - one for my AT&T U-verse box and another for my smart TV. This is a simple solution that works great. With a 1000 mbps line, wired is about 3x faster than wireless.

This is the third one I have bought as I snake my network around, one feeding the other. They are attractive on a counter. 5 ports lets you use one for the connection and the other four out to devices.

I have tried other products on the market but the one that I always go back to is netgear, their equipment is high quality and very fast and reliable for a reasonable price! This switch is actually able to convert different types of Ethernet connections!

I bought this for my Google WiFi, this way I can add cable devices. ISP to the Modem, to the "main" Google WiFi to the NetGear Switch. Now I have 2 PC's and 1 NAS connect to my wireless system.

I bought this as an add on to the other 4 I already had in the house when I extended my wired network out. We move a lot of gaming data and Hi Def video around and never had any lag issues.

Easy set up, great product, I would recommend this to anyone. Straight out of the box ready to go.

I purchased this to add more connections to my router because my router was already for the start of the job exactly as you would expect with ZZZ set up and well worth the money get yours today.

What needs to be said... It's a rather simple device and it does exactly what it is supposed to. There may be pricier more feature laden options as this one doesn't have an on/off button... But for my application it works as advertised.

I was pleasantly surprised, I simply pulled it out of the box. Plugged in the power and connected the Ethernet cords and it just worked with no hassles. I would by again. No reduction in internet speed and it is fifty feet from the main cable router.

If you need a few extra ethernet ports, then this product is for you. Works great and gets the job done.

Bought so my son could use his new laptop & Xbox without problems or unplugging all the time. No complaints, everything works well together & runs smoothly.

I purchased this to expand my Lan connections into my living area I have this tucked under my sofa, I do use multiple laptops in the area with a wire hook up back to the router. Full speed all the time no drawbacks of wireless.

Right out of the box I loved this switch. It was packed good instructions were clear plugged it in and worked without and problems. The little legs that snap on were a little hard to put on and came off easy but once set in place it worked without any problems as expected....

Owned unit for about a month now. Needed mor ports nearby the Modem and TV, I am using appleTV unit, Xbox, and smartTV on this and works just fine. Just plug your ethernet connections and that is it. No set up required.

Our old router was not keeping up with our PCs and Xbox use. We have a couple of each in our house The recommendations on this Netgear model were good to excellent and that is why I chose this one. And the price was within the midrange of models available.

I needed to take some devices off of WiFi because we had too many and we were running into trouble with the IP addresses. I got this switch to connect some items in the bedroom and it has since solved a lot of the issues. Very happy with this product!

My wife and I purchased this to add more hardwired connections to our home, and to this point has worked flawlessly. I have no complaints to this point and its been over a month to date since purchase. I would recommend at this point!
