This switch is easy to set up and compact to add more ports for computer devices

Simple to install and works great, perfect size for putting on a small shelf.

I was assigned to work and train in an office with no wi-fi. With no clue of what to do, I made a quick trip to my local Best Buy and the salesman recommended this. It was truly a game changer. Now I'm able to train anywhere!! Works perfectly!!

Great little switch. Have to separate ISP connections between networks all the time for work and this little guy has gone around the US with me for quite some time.

Works great, but wish I had gotten something with more ports. Good tool if you only have a few devices you want to manage. But ultimately replaced it with something with more ports

Computers keep getting added and moved in our network so it is just easier to add one of these rather than run new lines. Plug and play, no problems setting up. Only took as long as it does to plug into electric then pop in the cables done. Speeds fine.

I needed a switch to handle my need to hook up my additional Ethernet cords to direct connection to my modem. After researching different devices I chose the netgear 5 port 10/100/1000 Mbps unmanned switch. Works great!

I needed a way to get computers in the basement hooked up to the internet. I originally used a wireless adaptor but it was terribly slow. I used the ethernet port and have all the computers hardwired and screaming

If you need to plug multiple items in and your router is all full up, I would buy one of these ASAP. It is not a router, so you can't plug it in directly to a cable modem, it won't register multiple IPs, but as an add on to a router, it is blazing fast!

I took my Xbox and Smart TV off the WiFi network and used this switch to hard wire in to the network for faster streaming. 4K video streaming is now much smoother than over WiFi. Easy to set up, just plug in your network cables and go.

I like it, my modem is acting up so I added this to hook up all the computers in the house and just use the modem for the wireless. no more lockup on the modems router! Everyone gets on faster, what more is there. LOL

Needed to add a hub to the router to solve signal problems in the house by hard-wiring to the router. This works perfectly. Great price too.

The switch works as it is supposed to. That being said, it is a little slower than I anticipated. No piece of networking hardware is going to work at 100% efficiency so I was not expecting true gigabit speeds, but I was expecting at least 100mbps out of it. Unfortunately, this switch rarely operates at speeds over 30mbps to my router which is 125' of cable away. Fortunately, it is sufficient for most things but if I have a particularly large file to download or upload, I will use my laptop within the 5.4 wifi range of the router or connect directly to the router. It'll work for now, but if you are really wanting to see good speeds out of this switch, you will be disappointed.

I have a few extra things that needed the internet such as a Smartthings device, thermostat control device, camera device (these all allow me to see and control things on my iPhone) so I bought this at BestBuy and it allowed me to have lots of ports!

I was in need of two additional Ethernet ports after putting my XFINITY modem/router in bridge mode and used my Airport Time Capsule for my router. Plugged in a couple devices that don't require excessive speed and are only used infrequently.
