I went in looking for a 5 port switch and found this one. It is very compact so I can carry it in my laptop bag without issue. It allows me to set up my own temporary networks while on a job sites. Very good product.

I needed to replace a switch that had gone bad, so I picked up this one. None of these are very hard to set up. I like that is very small and uses very little energy. Plug it in and connect the ethernet wires and good to go.

Works well. Have had several netgear items over the years, and this does not disappoint. Would recommend.

the store assistant recommended this switch to me as an alternative to a much more expensive fix. and it was a better fix too. I really appreciated his advice and would have never known to do this without his help.

Netgear always seems to make great home networking products. This one was no exception. No setup required, completely plug and play. I appreciated the integrated wall mount on the unit. Made hidden installation much simpler.

Even though most everything is wireless these days there are times when you need to ensure the best possible speed for your high bandwidth devices. This does it. You won’t have a drop out or latency issue while streaming any content. This can be installed and used by anyone.

Netgear 5 is a great bang for your buck. Easy to install, great warranty and support. Actually speak to a human being, what a novel idea. You normally don't this kind of support unless you spend a lot more.

It was good for what I needed. I was looking for the unit that has the different LEDs to show the speed of each line being used, but they did not have it in stock, so I used this one. It works well, easy to use and install - no brainer!

Great buy for the price. I needed to run an Ethernet cable into a another room and this switch works great for connecting a couple extra devices. It's compact so doesn't take any up much room on a surface either.

Worked as intended. Easy installation and compact size.

Does exactly what I needed it to. Allowed for extra hard wired connections via my wireless mesh setup that only had one additional Ethernet port per node.

Small and easy, got it on sale and gave it to my kids to connect a bunch of consoles to the internet. I typically only by Netgear products, so far so good.

I have a 150mbs internet service and my wireless system knocks that down to 50mbs. I needed Ethernet to get the full speed. The Ethernet switch allowed me to connect 5 rooms to the wired net -- at 165mbs each. Nice

I needed to get internet to my TV, Xbox and Cable box but only had one cat5 cable coming up through the floor. This works awesome, I expected nothing less from Netgear.

We needed this because our Ethernet port stopped working, so we had to run a cord over where we needed it, so we used this and it made all the difference, super easy to use too.

I really like this Ethernet port. I use it to connect my products that either don't have a WiFi connection or that work better with a direct Ethernet connection. The item can be mounted to the wall. It really works great for me, a simple, not do tech savvy person who wanted my smart TV and all the related gadgets to work effortlessly.

Due to conditions t my home my wireless signal can be spotty at times. Setting up a wired connection seems to have circumvented the connection problems. The switch is small and with enough ports to meet my computer needs. I can have more than once computer online at the same time in my home office.

I've used this for almost a month and have found this to be more than I had anticipated in performance and ease of use. This is not very big in size but don't allow that to cause you not to buy. It just works as it should!

Easy to set up. Cheap solution for what I needed.
