Installation consisted in taking it out of the box and connecting the power as well as the cabling to the five ports. I bought several weeks ago and it has worked without any problems.

After looking for routers that has more port with no luck I found this device that really works good and very easy to install, my problem was fixed and I still have 2 port empty.

Bought the google home wifi router. The router only had 2 ports. The netgear was suggested to me by a Best Buy associate. The Netgear added 5 ports.

No problems setting this up. Used it to replace a prior switch that died. Took me longer to get this out of the box than it did to hook it up and fix my issue.

Needed a couple more ethernet connections after xfinity gave us a new modem and it only had 2. Super easy setup and is working perfectly. it is plastic so we will see how long it lasts compared to the metal ones. But I guess that is the trade off for the lower cost.

This saved me so much time and money or else there would have been Ethernet cable mess everywhere around the house. Easy set up and no head ache at all.

Good gigabit unmanaged switch. Plug and play, no crossover cable needed to connect to next switch downstream. Quite reasonable price for quality and features.

Allows me to bypass my At&t bgw-210 modem, by using it it as a dummy switch.

I looked in the BestBuy website for this item to replace an old one that broke. The new one is far superior to the one that broke. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I did not know what this device was capable of or how it would work, but it was simple to install and works great to expand your Wi-Fi network.

I have three devices in my office I was running internet to. They were getting 5 mbps. It was frustrating. Changed to this device and I’m getting 75 mbps now.

I had a similar device that came from a different vendor. When I could not find an exact replacement after the device failed, I turn to my old standby Best Buy and ordered this product. It arrived on time and in perfect shape. Installation was a snap, and the problem was solved.

Great product. I utilized all 5 ports in conjunction with my mesh wifi router. The internet speed was not compromised at all.

These switches are an easy way to add to your wired needs and are easy to use, just plug em in and add your extra connections and forget you even have it.

It’s fine. I haven’t done any latency testing to see if it is causing a better or worse situation to any other small switches on my network, but it works.

Bought a wireless garage door opener but needed extra plugs in order to use door opening app. Piggybacked the Netgear to my UVERSE and it works fine.
