This switch works great. I needed to split the network in an office that is a long way from the main switch. This did the trick with no degradation in service.

The unit connected to my network with no problems. It is well built and the cables connect in the back leaving the front clear with connection status LEDs. The unit is light weight so if not mounted to wall it will tend to easily move/slide around.

    Eliminated Wi-Fi

I wanted a hard wired ethernet connection to all the devices in my entertainment center cabinet. So, I bought this ethernet switch and some ethernet cables. I have fewer momentary signal drop-outs since connecting the switch. Previously, most of the items in my entertainment center were operated via the wi-fi signal. There's not much to it. Just plug in the ethernet cables and the power adapter. The switch is hidden behind my TV. This ethernet switch appears to use less power than some of the others I considered.

Nothing fancy, but I didn't need anything fancy. Used to hardwire one of my Google wifi mesh points to get the Xbox off wifi.

Very happy with the functionality of this switch and the number of devices that it can accommodate. Best Buy's price was significantly higher than a competitor's, but I was able to take advantage of their Price Match policy so I could buy it at my local Best Buy rather than waiting for the competitor to ship it.

I said little, right? This thing is tiny. More importantly, it works like a charm. I would consider buying more of these, even for an office setting.
