I needed more than the 4 outputs from my router for my home wired network. This gave me the extra ones I needed at a low price.

This either net switch is the second one I have in my house. If functions well and is just the right size to hide on my shelf. It fits my needs well.

I needed the ports to set up everything I have and it has just enough ports for my modem and google pods along with Computer.

This switch is easy to "install" and works as it should. Once it's hooked up, I don't have to think about it anymore.

Nothing beats Hard Wired Networking. This is reasonably priced and doesn't bottleneck your connection.

As I gain more electronic control over my house I found this a cost effective way to increase the number of ports on my router

So far this switcher works great and I have had no issues. You just plug in all of your things and get internet to the devices you need!

This item has performed exactly as it is supposed to. We had no problems installing it. We would recommend this item.

Nothing fancy, but I didn't need anything fancy. Used to hardwire one of my Google wifi mesh points to get the Xbox off wifi.

The unit connected to my network with no problems. It is well built and the cables connect in the back leaving the front clear with connection status LEDs. The unit is light weight so if not mounted to wall it will tend to easily move/slide around.

I was running out of ports and this unit was easy to install and provided the additional ports that I needed for all of my wifi enabled devices.

I bought it for work, normally won't go to Best Buy for something like this but it was the closest and we needed it quickly. Haven't had any problems with it.

Needed a small switch to act as a junction between my router and the two Tivo boxes in my house (on different floors). Just plug it in and go, no worries!

I have a had good luck with Netgear products and this simple 5 port switch is no exception. It has performed flawlessly for a few months now.

excellent low cost hub for networking, plug and play with no setup

I wanted a hard wired ethernet connection to all the devices in my entertainment center cabinet. So, I bought this ethernet switch and some ethernet cables. I have fewer momentary signal drop-outs since connecting the switch. Previously, most of the items in my entertainment center were operated via the wi-fi signal. There's not much to it. Just plug in the ethernet cables and the power adapter. The switch is hidden behind my TV. This ethernet switch appears to use less power than some of the others I considered.

This 5 port gigabit switch was very easy to install and setup. It's allowed me to easily connect more devices in my network.

Simple and fast little switch. It works like a champ. Speed is awesome on this device although it was cheaper In price, compared to other switches.
