This modem was easy to setup and install. It replaces the modem supplied by my CenturyLink DSL provider and it will save me the monthly lease fee they were charging me.

It is a much more cost effective option compared to other modems and the ones you rent from your provider. Fairly easy to set up. there was a little bit of a difference between the set up on the box and the set up from at&t so I just followed the box and it works great.

Netgear is my go to modem, have had a number over the years. Easy set up and always works after registering. Probably one of the easiest modems to get up and running.

This was a great purchase and at a low price it was a steal

Netgear had great support when I was having issues with setup. Come to find out the problems were with my service provider.

lightning blew out my old modem and I keep a dsl line as back up for the high speed cable as I must have internet service non-stop for my business. Netgear was plug and play, didn't have to think, it just worked out of the box.. killer.

This is a basic DSL modem with few bells or whistles. Setup was fairly easy. Just make sure you call your internet provider before attempting to set up to get your login info. The login info you need to enter IS NOT your regular account login username and password. I was hoping this device would help with my connection issues, but I still have to power cycle this device several times a week to get less than half the speed I'm supposed to be getting. Very disappointed.

Would be nice if it had Ethernet ports to hook up connected devices but a good wireless router will have that.

Easy simple setup. Solid performance. Biggest problem was the phone company failing to provide required connection information.

We needed to separate our modem and router in order to get the best coverage for our multi level house. This modem was perfect. Easy to install and not a single reason to not like it!
