Easy to set up and use. It's the only kind Best Buy had for DSL, but hey, if it works, who cares, right?

I thought that this was a decent DSL modem for the price. Easy to set up and was online in minutes!

I don't know too much about modems, but this thing drops out briefly several times a day. Not too much of a hassle whilst surfing; I just reload the page. But when it does it while we're shopping and checking out and being sent from from one screen to another, it's a hassle. Downloads are longer, too, and streaming can be affected. And while this is not a specific issue with this particular modem -- most documentation sucks anymore -- I tried changing a setting to see if that would help, I got knocked offline totally. That's when I found out 1. I could only change the setting back if I was online, and 2. all the help is online, too. I restored the modem to the factory defaults and reinstalled it to get it working . I'd recommend it only to someone who knows what they're doing.

Item works great but AT&T would not Assist with the configuration and will not support the unit.

This hard drive is very quiet and faster than the last brand I bought. (Same speeds) Also I love the price matching Best Buy does. Save me a trip to Micro Center.

We've had issues with compatibility with routers and modems, finally we found the solution. Linksys product works great!

My search for a modem brought me to best buy. I like this item as all I needed was a modem. I have it connected to an Apple Time capsule and the setup works well

This is a great modem and was very easy to setup! I've never had a bad experience with NETGEAR products.

I have had two of these and they work well. Setup is amazingly fast. With the included CD and Windows, it sets itself up, determining all of the usual parameters for ADSL use. You just need the telco user name and password (plus static IP if you are using one). Using a separate ADSL modem allows the use of the more powerful and versatile routers in the network, a decided plus over the telco modems.

We were in the market for a new DSL modem and found this one to be a great deal.

FYI; DSL is the only service available in my area. Bought a XBOX ONE. Had a XBOX 360 before without issues. Was having lagging issues bad with XBOX ONE. Talked to internet service provider (ISP) and they said nothing was wrong on their end. Ha! Sales associate told me with the new technology in the XBOX ONE the ISP modem couldn't keep up. Recommended this unit. ISP tried to talk me out of changing out their modem. Got the info I needed from ISP and changed to new modem myself. Has worked great ever since! Works for me with limited ISP choice.

This is a great piece of hardware but you need to have a little expertise on gaining access to the hardware interface of the device and have some familiarity with Netgear's menu setup. I only use it as a modem and my wireless router handles the routing and connecting. It has pretty weak hardware in the router mode. I would not use it as a router but has worked flawlessly as a modem.

I have used it for 3 weeks and it works so far so good. Also, it works well with my netgear router. I am pretty much pleased with my modem now.

Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. Had to upgrade the very old one we had. This one has worked superbly since I installed it.

What I needed for I good price. was easily set up with all cables that I needed. I liked the brand, and it was well put together.
