This router is installed on a desk in our basement and easily transmits strong signals to our second floor bedrooms. It was easy to set up and configure a secure network with the added bonus of being able to easily configure a 2nd, unsecure "guest" network. This comes in really handy for multiple kids coming to the house with multiple devices.

Range is amazing! The speeds are amazing. We needed something that could keep up with Apple TV, COD and kids being home schooled. It works amazing. The app on your phone lets you keep tabs on who is using what, and turn of WiFi to devices not being used.

The best router I have bought. It's worth spending the money for this item. I have excellent signal in every corner of my home.

My old router couldn't keep up with all the wifi devices that I have. But this Netgear98 does the trick. Very happy with it.

Top of the line 1GHz dual core processor router with great speed and range. Very easy to setup. Using the wizard, I was able to get things up and running in about 30 minutes. We have lots of devices connected and have had no lag issues. Thank you Netgear and Bestbuy!

I love this router it’s fast it hasn’t lost service and I’ve had it for months it never drops the connection and the Netgear Genie allows me to use parental controls and set up guest access and it was a very wide range of coverage!

Purchased this first but my device wasn't dual band compatible. Returned and saved half my money on a different model. It was fast though

Replaced my aging WiFi router with this... speeds improved a lot. Set up was easy. App functionality is extremely poor. After initial setup, the app will not function properly. Apparently this occurred after an update, but as of yet, app remains nonfunctional. If app worked, I’d give it 5 stars...

I got this mainly to stream movies. I place the router in the main living room, and it can reach to all rooms in the house!

We purchased a new smart tv that we had in our bedroom. Our old router was not strong enough to send the signal throughout our home, causing interruptions and slow streaming. The new router solved that problem and now we stream Netflix without any problem and our tablets and laptops work great throughout our home with no delay or slowness.It was east to set up and we have been watching movies on our smart TV ever since.

Set up and connecting devices has been easy. Best Buy staff was extremely helpful to find the right device.

After trying a few cheaper models I spent the extra on this nighthawk as the other models didn't have range in my 2-story 2000sq ft house. This router performs excellent and has great range and speed in all areas of my house now. Highly recommend it.
