Installation was painless and fast, immediate improvement in my wireless devices and internet speed overall. Spent weeks trouble shooting the Comcast modem and no resolution, installed this unit myself all issues went away. Never using Comcast Equipment again.

This is the best router I’ve bought netgear stands behind their products, offers consistent and reliable speeds of over 1GB as that the max Xfinity has in my area, also I have over 15 devices on WiFi at all times and the router never gets bogged down.

Extended my wifi range compare to my old modem/router combo that I bought from cox a few years ago. However, I do wish the range could be a little bit better. I still need to use the range extender to cover my entire house. Stable signal so far. Beside that the price is also a bit expensive. I bought it during Black Friday. The Price was $300 at the time. Based on the price I paid, I would rate the wifi range performance as average.

I bought this to replace the router/modem provided by the cable company. It was a breeze to set-up, eventually, and easy to get working once I called customer service and realized the web address in the 'quick start' sheet was wrong.

I work from home and needed to upgrade my router. We had a Nighthawk before but for the Gigablast we needed to upgrade. We purchased another Nighthawk because it is easy to set up and we've never experienced any problems with them.

Have had no issues, love the netgear app to control password and other administration options. Can have 2 different wifi so one can be used for guest and the other can be used for personal.

This unit cable modem been rock solid! Especially since I finally learned how to use the dual function. Signal is strong throughout the house.

After using comcast for over 3 years. I really hated throwing my money away renting. I have no dead spots now in the house for wifi. Best of all no more lagging and kids yelling internet is down.

When I tried to setup the router wirelessly, I was unable to connect. While I was able to establish a hardwired connect to the modem, initially, I was unable to connect to the internet via Comcast. After several hours with Comcast customer support, I finally connected to the internet with limited access. After doing a factory reset, I was able to connect to the internet both hardwired and wirelessly. However, over the next few days, my internet was occasionally extremely sluggish and the connection dropped frequently. I returned the defective product for a new device which installed quickly according to the instruction provided with the device. Very satisfied. At the same time Bestbuy took the defective device back without the original packaging with no questions asked.

Excellent router and has worked really well with fast speeds for me, but get best buy’s Protection plan. A previous router died on me, and Netgear’s customer support was terrible to deal with.

Works fine. Easy interactions for what is desired but a tad bit too much price for its worth

I have connected to this modem two Xbox ones, 3 smart tvs, my surveillance cameras, my alarm.. Our personal phones and laptops and this modem handles all of that like nothing...

It works as expected. The only downside’s are how big it is, the very bright white puts out, and that it Hass to be mounted flat.

Got this to replace a cable box WiFi that was spotty at best. The WiFi has been great, cable company is messing around because they lost income, but they keep it up I’ll switch!!

Upgraded from the older nighthawk router which was still a good option but needed something more powerful. Old one lasted us 2 years. Hoping to get a few more out of this one.

Spend the extra money and do it right the first time this thing works great So if you’re in the market for a wireless router I would definitely take a look at this one

Was having a ton of isssues with my internet speed. I tried multiple different routers, but didn’t get anywhere. I bought this and haven’t and any issues since.

The signal strength is very good and the reach is good as well and as a all in one it only takes one plug in and cleans up the modem so you don't have 2 devices
