Basic cleaning, added water and worked as advertised. Haven’t tried to confirm the 50lb ice making capacity, that will be accomplished on the houseboat on the next trip. Only concern is the size of the water reservoir and how often it will need to be filled.

Well, maybe it does...if you want to fill/unfill the water container and the ice container about 20 times in a day. IN my mind I thought "50 lbs of ice perfect...I go out somewhere, fill the ice chest, and I am done" That unfortunately was not the case. We took it back.

Great, until it stops working

Great until it quit working

Occasionally, the only problem we encountered was that it would turn itself off periodically for no known reason (not low on water or anything). However, it recently stopped working. None of the warning/error lights are on. The display appears that it should be working, but it will not make ice. The warranty was only good for 12 months, so it's time to purchase a replacement. It was good while it lasted, but it should have lasted longer than 14 months!

The owner's manual was not helpful. Neither was the internet. When I looked to check the warranty, I had to contact them via email.
