My Favorite Security Suite

For the last week I have been testing the Norton - 360 Deluxe (3-Device) with LifeLock Identity Advisor (1 Adult) (1-Year Subscription with Auto Renewal). With this suite you get antivirus software, a VPN, password manager, software updater, Norton utilities and the life Lock identity monitoring. All are an excellent value in a standalone form and overall, it is a fantastic security suite.
I already had a Norton account, so I did not have to do the initial registration. With that said, installation was extremely simple. I entered the code, and it immediately downloaded the antivirus software. From there, I clicked a few buttons, entered the information for LifeLock to monitor and I was done.
Something that was very impressive was that while I was adding my information to Norton such as email, phone numbers, account numbers, etc. I already had 2 notifications from Norton about compromised accounts on the dark web. Some other things I love about this suite are the Norton utilities. Which performs PC performance and maintenance items such as clearing temp files, registry files and removing startup applications. Also, I like that the software suite does not try to sell you additional software as well as it does not use a lot of processor power.
As I said in the beginning, this is a fantastic security suite and I highly recommend it.

Top Notch Security Suite from Norton

Norton 360 Deluxe with LifeLock identity advisory is one of the top-notch security suites that is available in the market for providing real-time protection.
Purchased this product to protect 2 laptops and a desktop after my current subscription of different product expired. We wanted to protect our kid’s device against virus, malware, spyware, online threats and wanted to have parental control to control against phishing.
We choose this compared to other products on market, as it provides secure VPN with no login credentials and with just a click of a button to enable it. It adds bank grade encryption that helps to keep bank details and passwords more secure. We were paying separately for password manager every year and wanted to try this product as it includes free password manager that stores, creates and manages all your password for online credentials safely and securely.
My kid uses her laptop for video calling with her grandparents oversees twice a week and we wanted to make sure her webcam is not vulnerable to hacking and this product has safecam feature that block them.
Also, great for cloud backup and this product offers 25 GB of cloud backup for free and allows to schedule your backup schedule.
Only con for me is it needs payment method to be stored in the account for automatic renewal of subscription and to activate the LifeLock identity advisor as it comes with 1-year prepaid subscription.
Setup was straightforward if you have Norton account. For me, we had Norton account and just logged in to the account, selected the product and installed in no time. Upon installing, just quickly enabled various options for secure VPN, cloud backup, device security. Also, installed the browser extension to protect browser. There is also a free trial 90-day antitrack feature that block trackers from following you online. After trial its $5/month or $59.99/year subscription required.
One of the best features is the parental control where you can add a child to the Norton family setup, choose their device, install, and activate. Once done you can monitor the child’s online activity like web, location, time, app supervision from the mobile app or from the PC.
Pros: Great real time security thereat protection, Secure VPN, one-year prepaid LifeLock identity advisor, parental controls, password manger, 25gb cloud backup, safecam, intuitive GUI.
Overall, it’s a top-notch security suite that will keep the entire family from online safe and secure including the dark web monitoring. Highly recommended for anyone who to need to protect the private and financial information online.

Excellent protection

There are many software products and services in the market for consumer to protect their identity and assets from cyber threats and identity theft. Which plan will provide the protection you need, and which is worth purchasing? With so many options and different services/plans, it makes it hard to choose but nowadays, it is not wise not to be protected. Most people don’t drive around without a seatbelt mainly because they don’t want a ticket, and it is proven that seatbelts save lives. Similarly, nowadays, not having the proper protection will cost you time, theft, and frustration. Like Benjamin Franklin said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
Norton 360 Delux with LifeLock Identity Advisor is an excellent product for most consumers that want more than adequate protection.
So far, it does a great job of malware protection and system performance; I haven’t got any issues yet. The software provides real-time protection that helps safeguard your device against any old or new malware threats on the internet. It includes a two-way firewall, password manager, and parental control (it’s optional to activate). Another great and valuable feature provided is the secured VPN, “Virtual Private Network,” which helps you browse the internet wholly secured. This will make you be on the internet completely anonymous. VPN encrypts your activity when you are connected to the internet, so there is little to no chance of criminals interception and getting your data.
I don’t use the Parental Control feature since I don’t have small kids. Now, password management is a feature that I use a lot and which I find remarkably very useful to simplify my life. I feel confident in safely and securely creating, storing, and managing my passwords in this software. It is good to have a cloud backup, which is included in this product, to store essential documents and files just in case. This is a better and safer alternative storage, especially when your hard drive can malfunction, get corrupted, or even be stolen.
The LifeLock Identity Alert does work very well when used correctly, meaning using all its features. For example, Norton detected that my email in an old account (couponmom) was on the dark web. It notified me of what it found and recommended what steps I could take to protect myself.
Due to the relentless quest from cyber criminals to get people’s sensitive data, it is worth the investment to get adequate cyber and identity protection. For this, it is wise to get Norton, which provides a comprehensive antivirus suite. To conclude, I highly recommend this or any other Norton products.

A must have for life and all your devices

Having relied on Norton antivirus and PC tune up software products for more than a decade, my systems, including PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones, have never been compromised by any viruses or malware. The Norton software is consistently fighting the malware battle in the background leaving me with more time for gaming, business, social media, etc. without a thought in the world. Years ago, before I had invested in Norton software, and the continuous updates to ensure the latest and best protection is being offered, I dealt with viruses at least yearly which has crashed my system on several occasions making it completely inoperable and/or recoverable.
Considering technology, and those continually attempting to hack into about every aspect of one’s personal and/or business life, has grown exponentially, I would not hesitate a second to make this minor invest in the protection and utilities Norton offers in this software. I also wouldn’t risk thinking for one second that something like a virus would not happen to me or someone in my household, especially considering I have no idea what others in my household are using their devices for, downloading sketchy files, clicking on click bait, etc.. Or, in an even worse case scenario, imagine some criminal gaining access to all your account information, passwords, personal identification information, etc. and draining your bank accounts, selling your property without you knowing it, creating fake IDs with your information, etc. With Norton Life Lock, you can ensure your identity and any personal information used by you such as your driver’s license number, social security number, home address, phone number, etc. aren’t being used by someone on the dark web. Norton is constantly monitoring the dark web, criminal scammers, hackers, etc. for your information once you enter it into their database. On top of that, it will notify you in real time when a potential breach may have occurred in an effort to catch it and allow you to change a password, freeze a bank account, notify creditors or law enforcement, etc.
A few other great features they offer are password management, cloud back up storage, a secure virtual private network (VPN), parental controls, etc. The advanced utilities also include a ton of useful PC tune up software such as disk repair, disk defragmenter software, registry cleaner, uninstaller, etc. You could potentially pay hundreds of dollars to purchase all this software separately and Norton offers all of this in one package along with their amazing antivirus software that they’re known for.
I have tried other similar products from other companies in the past and, in my opinion, they just don’t compare to everything you will get with Norton Utilities Ultimate. It’s well worth every penny to protect those expensive devices and keep them running great.

I got the newest MacBook Air and wanted to have some protection on it. I can’t say long term if this does the job, but I find one aspect very annoying. When you add the search bar to your chrome or safari, you do not get the same type of search as if it’s just google. Maybe that is it protecting you, but I find I very often need to open a specific google page on its own, just to find what I’m searching for - things I know are safe, like stores or grad school searches. This alone makes it not very user friendly. I do feel it is secure with my passwords and information, it’s hard to get into. Almost to the point I would be concerned locking myself out and never getting back in. I can’t really comment on what it’s protected or done so far, or is going to protect, though.

360 Protection on your Device and your Life

I am now a Norton user for life! I haven't used Norton's antivirus software in a long time and now I regret this. I probably haven't touched it since the 2010s or maybe even earlier and it was probably a free trial. I have been using other name brands and free versions but now that I experienced Norton's paid service I wont be going back to any other brand.
There are three main reasons I am going to stick with Norton: #1 It's easy! Everything is so simple to use. On a PC when you open the app the main screen comes up with everything you need to start a scan, turn on a feature, or glance to make sure everything is lit up green to make sure you are safe. It might even be red to show you that you need to take action. #2 With this version of Norton Deluxe you receive a year of LifeLock protection. The best part is that its not two separate applications (Norton/LifeLock) but rather everything is on one program. Like I said prior when you open the application everything pops up on the home screen including a monitor with you LifeLock protection. #3 My computer never slows down with this program and it only interrupts me when it actually needs to alert me of something important.
For these three reasons its why I will always choose Norton going forward.
Norton 360 Deluxe is packed with features including live threat and virus protection, VPN, password manager, 25gb of cloud storage, and even webcam protection. To me they covered everything I am worried about with my pc. PLUS you can protect up to three devices so my desktop, laptop, and now my iphone 13 pro are all protected.
LifeLock is cool and now that I have it I will probably continue to subscribe each year. With it being associated with my PC security software its just so much easier to access and remember that I have it and it's actually protecting me. Coming from using other paid services to provide identity protection, I believe LifeLock is the way to go. It so convenient to add my personal information or add a credit card. LifeLock watches out for you live with eyes out on the Dark Web.
I am very satisfied with Norton and they earned my business because I now feel more secured virtually on all of my device rather it be a desktop, cell phone or a laptop.

Nortons constant pop ups kinda ruin this

So I already had a version of Norton 360 and decided to upgrade because of the addition of LifeLock. I had heard a lot of good things about its security and protection of your personal info across the board from identity theft to someone using your credit cards and even now someone using your gamertag or gaming information which I thought was really cool and progressive.
It's pretty easy using the software to set up everything on both sides, Norton and LifeLock. Everything is self explanatory.
One of my biggest issues with the Norton software was no matter what I had my passwords set to, Norton constantly popped on just about everything I opened saying that my passwords weren't strong enough or that I needed to change them. Now my passwords are usually more than ten letters and I also use capital letters, lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers. But still no matter what I used those reminders always popped up. Really got sick of it. Another thing about this suite was that you think you're getting the best coverage but then when you get everything going they try to constantly sell you on something that it didn't include or doesn't do.
The Lifelock aspect gets a thumbs up. I've used Norton products for literally decades, but it's kind of like buying a car and then trying to be charged or sold on a bunch of stuff you thought was already included. The coverage is good but as you can see in the pics, you'll see what I'm talking about
I'd recommend it to others but be prepared for the pop ups o matter what your password is it seems haha

Trusted Performance and Protection with LifeLock

Norton 360 is world-renowned cyber protection for home PCs on a yearly subscription for three devices. This software suite offers protection against viruses, malware, ransomware, webcam takeovers, phishing attacks, and more. This easy-to-use software makes a difference in day-to-day operations while roaming the web and working. It protects my email box, websites are checked, and warnings are provided when venturing to an unsafe site. Infected files are automatically stopped from running; they are locked up and quarantined until you decide whether to delete or keep the file.
Installation and setup were fast and easy, following many typical online subscription installations using a small downloader connecting you to their software server. User experience and UI still need lots of work. I prefer something other than this dashboard implementation. Two different dashboards are required to use the software and additional features, which is annoying and needs to be fixed. It's been years, and it still works the same.
Norton 360 provides internet, PC, and identity protection for one adult user for one price. Performance is excellent while not draining system resources, but lower RAM devices may have a tough time. My machine has 64GB of RAM, which peaked at roughly 67%. Real-time threat protection employs AI machine learning and the cloud to protect you. The smart firewall is a silent firewall that monitors incoming and outgoing traffic so you can narrow down precisely what is happening with your connections. Dark web monitoring is another nice feature that will help track your data leaks from breaches found in stores and sites we have gone to. It isn't the most thorough search of the dark web, but it offers some coverage. However, it does offer the ability to monitor your credit card accounts. Online backup with 25GB and Norton Family is available for parental control options. A password manager and secure VPN are also included for added value. I wish Norton would offer a way to customize modules to show/hide within the program to keep things clean. If you want to use this just for antivirus, you should be able to disable the password manager, VPN, cloud services, etc., from showing and cluttering the experience.
STANDOUT FEATURES
-Lightweight resource use
-Solid and effective virus and malware protection
AREAS TO IMPROVE
-Streamline the UI and dashboards
-"Dark Web" monitoring service
In a nutshell, Norton 360 does more than enough, and the added value of LifeLock makes this a formidable defender in the cyber security world for most users. In a world with hackers and malware specialists attacking your email and the websites you visit most, this is just the first step to protecting yourself, and I highly recommend it.

NORTON - 360 DELUXE (3-DEVICE) WITH LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR (1 ADULT) (1-YEAR SUBSCRIPTION WITH AUTO RENEWAL) - ANDROID, APPLE IOS, MAC OS, WINDOWS [DIGITAL]
MODEL:SYC940800V001
HEADLINE:
AFFORDABLE INTERNET SECURITY PROTECTION + PEACE OF MIND
OVERVIEW
Identity theft is a real concern of mine, and NORTON - 360 DELUXE (3-DEVICE) WITH LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR is an important tool to help combat a variety of attacks from all over the web and beyond. It is not that I have a ton of assets to protect, but just the thought of the hassle involved in trying to recover from an event keeps me up sometimes. I’ve been using Norton in one way or another for close to 30 years. Of all the protection software I’ve used it is the most consistent, in the way it protects and what it does. The LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR has notified me when accounts at various companies have been compromised. It has found old emails and old password that have been compromised in the past that might have been subject to further exploitation.
NORTON - 360 DELUXE (3-DEVICE) WITH LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR was easy to install and activate, just following the prompts. If you have a prior version installed, you might have to download the Norton Uninstaller application to fully get rid of the old installation.
My only complaint is that Norton is always (and I mean always) trying to upsell you something or asking you to activate a feature. The pop ups are very annoying. In my case this is compounded by managing about 10 systems for my family. So, I get the same pop ups on all these systems over and over again.
However despite all the upselling ads and pop up notifications, I still rely on Norton to keep my local PC’s safe and provide an extra set of eye to my ID’s in the wild.
I do wish it had an option to monitor more emails addresses, between myself and my family, we have about 20 emails addresses that I would like to monitor.
SUMMARY
I do (and have) recommended NORTON - 360 DELUXE (3-DEVICE) WITH LIFELOCK IDENTITY ADVISOR to all my family, friends, and co-workers that come to me daily for PC advice.

Just keep adding on more?

Norton has been a trusted name in antivirus for ages and I still feel they are top of the line in protection. But, it really just seems like they just keep adding on more and more options for more subscription fees. Like the title “Deluxe with LifeLock” doesn’t mean premium or ultimate or plus or all the other various versions that have other slight differences that just keep adding up. Like the fact this will do a scan of your software and show you have issues, but you can’t do anything about it unless you get Norton Utilities Ultimate for another subscription fee. Though it does offer a free trial. Then, make sure you really keep track of when you have to auto-renew, like set reminders on your calendar the moment you install as you may get wallet shock when you see how much it auto-renews for in 1 year. Just know that it is not as good of a deal as this initial package is, especially considering this has LifeLock as well.
If you are looking for something that makes itself obvious that it is protecting you by providing reminders, showing up on everything you do online if you enable the extensions and simply filtering everything to keep you safe, this is certainly a package I would recommend. For someone like myself, where I just need it to work in the background and only show up if there is an issue, I find it kind of annoying. But, compared to how much impact Norton used to have on your system performance, it has come a long way and is fairly low usage.
For the most part, the majority of the options in the little home screen of the application just lead you to the website to login and change settings there. The only thing you can do without being online is ‘Device Security’. However, the website looks just like the application interface and gets you around to what you need.
Lifelock is nice, but really didn’t feel like it offered anything you can’t get from some other services, like credit monitoring. With a different service I get a notification the moment someone runs a credit report, before they even get back to telling me if I was approved or not. Even the “Freeze” options it shows just leads you to other services that you apply through them to activate. A lot of the Dark Web information can be collected through other free services as well, and with more than 5 in each category.
The VPN is decent. Even with my gigabit speeds, I was getting nearly 300Mbps, which many included VPNs usually lucky if you get over 100Mbps. Of course, it all depends on what region you are connected to, examples of speeds in images below.
Overall, for the package deal, it is worth it if you don’t want to go around looking for different services that provide each option. If you don’t mind the changes in the way some things are shown for you after installing all the options, it will certainly ensure anyone that uses the 3 devices you have it used on are safe. Just watch that subscription date and look for another deal from Best Buy before it ends if you don’t want that surprise.
