    Huge improvement over my 20yr old system. Adding ability of Dolby Atmos to my home theater takes the experience to the next level.

    Bought this on SB weekend, hooked it up TV worked and sounded great. Bluetooth music from a Samsung S23 Ultra pairs up and sounds great but after the first song the screen on the receiver and the TV still display the first song no matter how many songs you listen to it never updates or catches up. Firmware update did nothing. Chromecast hooks up about 40% of the time and when it does audio quality is terrible compared to Bluetooth which should be the opposite since it's running on WiFi. On the first go around with the 6100 everytime you adjusted the volume it changed the input or turned the receiver off. Second one doesn't do that but it still doesn't like my phone and Chromecast still works about the same which is not often. Spotify works much better than Amazon music and sounds like it should. We'll see what the geek squad says but I have a feeling this one will be going back as well.

    I've always owned Onkyo receivers and this one is another great addition. Set up was easy especially speaker through the room acoustic calibration AccuEQ.

    Mostly happy with it. Initial speaker balance fails badly, with closer back speaker much louder than back speaker further away. Interaction with TV can be frustrating due to HDMI handshaking.

    Its a decent receiver but i do have issues with the audio not work unless i unplug and plug my hdmi cable back in
