  • Frustrating experience with Onkyo TX-NR6100

    Got error message during initial setup - NG: LCRSLSRBLBR. This indicates a speaker error. I’ve identified the bad speaker and want to retry setup. After many abortive Google attempts, even a factory reset is not happening. The product is under warranty, but the nearest service center is 2 hours away, if I don’t want to spend on mailing the receiver back and forth. I delayed setting it up and am now past the returns window. Onkyo Support is not available on the phone. Very frustrating experience.

    It is not stay connected to Pandora. When you turn it on it defaults to Bluetooth, so the sound does not work until you grab the original receiver remote and turn it back to storm box.

    Great receiver. It did have some issues with 4k.. make sure you read how to change the 4k. It was a challenge at first

    8k/60hz or 4k/120hz passthrough, future proof for your tv today and the tv of tomorrow! GREAT price too!!

    So far so good. Replacement for an older Pioneer receiver that didn't work with eARC. Had to turn off the automatic eARC on Sony x91j.
