Broke after only a year. The HDMI ports for 4k apple TV did not work.

Onkyo being one of the most trusted names in all of the Audio/Visual world, the TX-NR6100 covers all the bases and then some (especially when you take the MRSP into consideration).
My review also includes the following which was part of the package:
Klipsch R-600F
Klipsch R-101SW
Klipsch R-30C
Klipsch R-40SA
Klipsch R-50M
I thought I'd mainly be using this for my movie collection, but as I delved deeper into the settings and options, I quickly realized I could throw a lot more at this than just film.
4K 120hz, HDR, and Dolby Atmos/Vision work amazingly well. Knowing that 8K is just around the corner and that this system is already capable of handling it has me extremely excited for what the future holds.
Many other reviews mentioned gaming, music, and film; all of which I can attest to. I played 24-bit FLAC files and the sound is breathtaking. Of course, 320cbr sound great, too, but the punch and depth from those more robust files is seriously taken advantage of with a setup like this. The only thing audio-wise that I didn't get a chance to try out was my turntable setup. But I have no doubts it will be amazing once I get the chance to move everything into place.
When it comes to film, the most recent 4K Dolby Atmos/Vision releases I have sounded superb. My other sound setup is a DT Studio Slim and I absolutely love it, especially as it is such a small/easy to hide system. The Studio Slim has performed amazingly well and is something I have been more than happy with, but this receiver in conjunction with these speakers? OMG, night and day.
I can't recommend the TX-NR6100 enough, nor can I deny how well is works with the Klipsch Reference line of speakers. Brilliant combination and beyond worth the investment!

First-The unit I ordered didnt get delivered on time.
Second-After being hooked up, the system failed to work 2 days later.
No follow up call from anyone to see how it was going-even after I texted the store assistant manager about the late delivery-he didnt follow up after he said he would! hard to review an item that isnt working!

The set up was a little tricky because our TV and other components are not so new, but once everything was hooked up correctly it works great! I love being able to connect to Bluetooth for music. The sound quality is so much better than through the old receiver we had.

This was an upgrade from an HT model I got a number of years ago. The upgrade is well worth all the bits and this receiver has the power to really make my speakers pop while leaving me to upgrade down the road

After 3 Denons, I thought I'd give Onkyo a try. One of my top requirements is Main Zone and Zone 2 spaces, each with a TV.
It was a good move. I really like the Onkyo approach to Zone 2 much better. With the Denons, I had to use Zone 2 speakers for audio, no audio via HDMI to the Zone 2 TV. A real pain to just watch TV in Zone 2 - audio controlled by another (not the TV) remote, limited to phone app due to removed location.
This Onkyo fixed my problem. I'm running a 5.1 speaker system along with Zone 2 speakers - but can use the TV speakers for TV if desired.

Once I have all the inputs plugged in, used ARCe, I don't know how to get the remote to turn on everything. Also, it seems to want to search all the inputs and stops on the Blue ray player. Sometimes the TV screen doesn't come on. Otherwise wow what a great AVR.

I purchased this unit in June 2024; Bluetooth connectivity suddenly began to cut out intermittently in November. It would reconnect with no problem (though annoying), then suddenly it (Bluetooth) stopped working all together. It says “connected” to the unit on my phone, but the display on the TV does not recognize it, and the only audio is through my phone speaker. I will initiate the warranty process by contacting BestBuy to determine what happens next-will likely NOT purchase another Onkyo, and instead will go back to Yamaha.
