This produces really good audio. Bluetooth pairing and eArc source audio work great. Setting up second zone output is really confusing and did not work as expected.

The TX-NR6100 is a great stereo and almost everything i wanted. I'll tell you why almost in a moment. This stereo has great sound. I love hearing stereo music bounce from one speaker to the other. I can control two rooms separately and with two different audios going. TV, and stereo or CD's and stereo, you get the picture. I still have the ability to have surround sound or attach sub woofers. It also has Bluetooth capabilities all except for my 4th generstion I-pod. That is the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. My 4th generation can connect to everything else i own except my new stereo. I can however connect my phone to Bluetooth and everything works fine.

I recently purchased a Samsung QN800A 8k so needed to update my receiver to take advantage of the TV’s features. Obviously there was limited availability of competitive model receivers. I had researched half a dozen competitors and did not initially have the Onkyo at the top of my list. I have owned several Pioneer Elite and Yamaha receivers and found the relationship between Onkyo and Pioneer help make the decision and the reviews cement my decision. So far performance is excellent. Sound is bright, clean, and the performance meets all my expectations.

This is my first AVR and I must say, it is extremely user friendly and easy to set up. All of the settings are clear to understand. The sound is great also. I have two Polk es60 towers and es35 center along with a def tech dn10 sub with jamo bookshelf speakers as my surrounds. This receiver does AMAZING! Would highly recommend

Easy set up and sounds great but it has issues with switching imputs, OSD, and screen flickering. Will be exchanging for something else.

Love this unit! The set up was super easy, and the sound is great (still using my 10 year old Klipsch speakers and sub). Pairs easily to devices and the remote is very easy to work. I replaced a Yamaha with this one and I am extremely pleased!

Super powerful amp. This amp delivers very clear audio to my Klipsch speakers. Setup interface is easy to follow and comes packed full of features like Airplay, EQ, mic setup. You can adjust gain on a per-speaker. A few misses for me is that the amp takes a minute to warmup and produce sound. When ever the amp turns on/off it makes loud clicking noises, which might be annoying for some. I understand what these things happen, but it's what keeps this product from being perfect. It also gets pretty hot so make sure to not cover the vents.

I bought this to replace a 20 plus year old Yamaha surround sound receiver. There are a lot of features that are on this that didn't exist on my old receiver. Unfortunately my TV is old and can't take advantage of all the features. As I look to upgrade the TV I hope these extra features will be utilized. Sound quality is an improvement. I only give it 4 stars as it is too new to determine reliability. Price/value relationship seems to be great.

This receiver replaced a Pioneer receiver we had for years that had been problematic on many levels. The Onkyo is far superior. The sound is awesome, the controls are simplified, setup was easy, and the price was reasonable for a product of this quality.

I recently purchased the Onkyo TX-NR6100 7.2 Channel THX Certified Network A/V Receiver and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The receiver has a sleek design and fits seamlessly into my home entertainment setup. The sound quality is top-notch - it produces clear and powerful audio for all of my movies, music, and TV shows. The network connectivity is also a major plus - I can easily stream content from my phone and tablet and control the receiver using the Onkyo app. The setup process was straightforward and the user manual was easy to follow. I highly recommend the Onkyo TX-NR6100 to anyone in need of a high-quality A/V receiver. It's a great value for the price and has greatly enhanced my home entertainment experience.

Great right out of the box. The speaker connections could be farther apart but that's it. The surround sound calibration is awsome for me. The on screen setup is good. Reciever knew which speakers I had hooked up and all devices really easy.

This receiver is awesome, I have like the sound that produce for the movies, I have been using it to listen music, I was expecting to watch more movies, but the sound of the music from it sound very good, I might get a HIFI sound system. This receiver support 8K for the TVs that will appear in 2 or 3 years, so you will be OK in the next couple of years.

This Onkyo is Awesome. It is extremely user friendly and sounds great. It links to Alexa, has all the built in music services like Pandora, Spotify and others and integrates with Sonos. Has 5.1 channels with Zone 2. I added a Sonos Amp on the network and have 3 zones now. Can play all 3 zones with the same of different music with the Sonos App. You can tell Alexa to play Alexa music or Pandora, etc music in any of the named zones. The surround system sounds great too. Love this system. Bought a Denon but sent it back due to it being so user unfriendly.

So far I am very happy with my Onkyo NR6100. It was a struggle to get it set up and I am still not sure the room/speaker set up worked. However the Onkyo forum moderator provided a solution to the problem for which I visited the forum. I bought this to replace a Dennon that was an ergonomic disaster and remained difficult to use after years of ownership. The Onkyo replaces a rotary selector with push buttons and some ancillary controls, Way, way easier to use. There are no instructions about how to set it up included but they are available online. More set up instructions should have been included but I guess that's the way of the world there days.
