This receiver is very impressive for the money. You won't find a better performer at this price point. It replaced a Denon AVR4300H from 2016 with Audyssey XT32. Dirac Live is impressive but there's a bit of a learning curve with it but the end result is outstanding. Well done Onkyo.

This A/V receiver is the best I’ve ever had. Onkyo RZ-50 is a BEAST I’ve been looking for a receiver to power my Bose 301s 201s and my center channel. This is the one it enhances everything it is a must have if you are home theater enthusiast even if you’re not trust me.

Out of the box it easy to setup and it's amazing sound.

Upgraded my receiver to the RZ 50. I love this receiver.

Plenty of power and most of the current extras you would need. The GUI is a little outdated and don't love the fact that you can't externally amplify just the front 3 channels in a larger setup. Great for the price, but only Good AVR most 5.1.2 setups though.

I like the technology incorporated rated in this receive, great for music and movies. Enough power to drive my B & W speakers. I have owned Onkyo receivers in the past and this receiver is my biggest purchase . Great choice if you are looking for awesome receiver.

Still tinkering as the technology has improved from my cheaper onkyo avr. Paired with decades old Klipsch Reference the speakers have more clarity. 7.2.2 will purchase power amp to push to limits adding 2 more dolby atmos

Great amp! Perfect for atmos applications. Very faithful reproduction of your movies and music. Other brands add their own equalization algorithms to the end product and onkyo is know for its more natural and “faithful” reproduction of the source material.

A beautiful product for those who want to explore the realms of audiophile home theater and music. Is able to power my 700 series B&W and extremely versatile to support a multi room system. Dirac has taken room correction to a whole new level.

Have had this Onkyo receiver for a year and a half. Previous receiver was a Onkyo TX-SR 805. This is a great receiver as a comparable unit. Not as much power but still great for the home theater.

I did a lot of research because of the price point and knowing the system is only plays as good as the receiver. This one has the best output/channel that matched my 8" in-ceiling application. All of the options are great. I hooked up my pool patio speakers to different zone and can play that separate than inside 5.1 surround sound. This is why I picked the 9.2 capability, for the zones. This has all the options plus extra. Have not ran into any issues. I did buy a little computer fan to blow air around the unit to keep it cool. eARC from TV works as needed, TV auto detects and plays as required. I run this and all other equipment through power conditioner.

Nice improvement to the Denon s750h I had before this.

Overall, it’s a good receiver, but nearly impossible to program Dirac. Spent over eight hours and still have not accomplished calibration. I have very good experience programming other receivers I believe the microphone that comes with it is substandard.

I waited 8 months for this to come into stock and it was truly worth it! The Dirac Live room correction software is amazing! It is everything the reviews said it was.

Thee best. Excellent sound. Have it hooked up as a 5.1 setup, to Definitive Tech speakers. Everyone that hears a movie or music through this system has been highly impressed.
