Have been enjoying Onkyo receiver and disc player for years. My old receiver gave up the ghost, so I replaced it with another Onkyo. Great item, easy to install, and glad to have another Onkyo receiver to enjoy.

Very good unit, it meets all my needs for musicDVD's TV and more.

Love this amplifier. Great sound easy setup. Second Onkyo, first one still works at nearly thirty years old.

I like it. You can hook up old style turntables or bluetooth the new one.

No issues, however this is a dated unit, I (must have) missed the date this unit came out, the on screen interface is dated, and didn’t seem all that great, but I suppose at the price point I got it (used-open box), it’s okay. However, I returned it for a different model.

Worked for 9 in wall 6.5 inch speakers and 1x 10 inch sub plus 3 vol controls.

At the price pointe it delivers. Good for the price.

Wouldn’t recommend. Has good features but can’t handle loud volumes. I purchased two and the first blew in 31 days so Best Buy wouldn’t honor the warranty as it was 24 hours past the window (eye roll) so I purchased another and it blew in 2 days…Admittedly I was watching movies at almost full volume in my theatre room both times, but why have a volume level it can’t handle. I have a Yamaha from 2013 that handles the same volume for extended periods perfectly fine. Disappointed in Onkyo and Best Buy to say the least. I’m stuck with a 31 day old Receiver that wont work. Also good luck with Onkyo customer service. I can get it repaired if I drive 1.5 hours and leave it with a shop for two weeks…sweet

I bought this in December of 2023 after i closed on my house to set up my home theater in the den. 3 short uses for Bluetooth music in the start of January 2024 and it stopped working. I put it back in the box and forgot about. I remember my 2 year manufacturer warranty is about to be up so i take it in to the authorized repair facility and they fix and test it, im already outside the warranty period before its returned as they waited a month for parts. They gave me a diagnostic that the center channel was the issue and instructions to test my speaker with a battery and check my wiring, check my speaker all is good... so i change all of my wires to new and not even 2 songs into testing it stoped working again and im out of the warranty coverage so in the trash this things goes. So in total i have maybe 30 min of use for this unit. I had an onkyo receiver in the past and no issues so this was truly disappointing. Will not buy onkyo ever again.

This is a good receiver, but I needed one that had posts for all of the connections rather than just a couple. My lesson learned is to always inspect an image of the back of the receiver CAREFULLY before ordering. I returned the receiver for this reason.

Truly a great option for my surround sound in my family room.

Seriously good and clean power. I really like the center channel vocal enhancement option. I have owned many similar units and this is one of my top favorites under $500.

I was replacing an Onkyo I had for 20 years that didn’t power on anymore. Plugged right into my existing Onkyo speakers and works like a champ. Definitely an upgrade from the 20 year ago version…
