Once you figure out how, the adjustability is endless with this receiver. Great sound output, Dolby atmos works great with my klipsch 5.1.2 setup.

The home theater blew the center channel after 2 months. Now it’s just a door stop that can’t get replaced and isn’t covered under warranty since it’s an open box. This is the first time using Onkyo and will be the last.

Purchased one new out of the box summer of 2025, after a couple months of use the receiver went into AMP DIAG mode and returned a NG error (center channel). Best Buy was able to replace the receiver for me, but similar error with different NG fault came up again (multiple channels). Service manual states that a dealer must be contacted in the event of a NG "No Good" error is present in the system. Both receivers were set in well ventilated areas with plenty of airflow. Will be seeing if I can return it under my Best Buy Total account so I can go with another brand.

A good receiver/amplifier for basic sound amplification

Receiver works well with 5.1 system. A little tricky to set up at first but pleased overall.

Works excellent. My old receiver would take several seconds when turning on to display my smart device on the tv. The new one puts it on the screen almost instantly.

Outstanding sound reproduction, able to produce from a variety of sources including turntable, cd, and Bluetooth! Awesome sound reproduction, able to configure speaker placement. Very impressive!

My second Onkyo receiver in 20 years, the first one is still doing great, this second one is being setup in our theater/media room.

Tried to give this unit a 2nd chance after buying the first to last only a day before not powering on again. The same thing happened with the second unit. Loved the idea of all the features for the price, but his unit has a power supply issue and is not reliable. Sadly disappointed

This model is not as good as the older models. No place for a turntable and if you use the PC connector space for it then the quality of sound is awful.

This receiver works just as we expected it to. We have no complaints.

We were looking for a receiver that would work with the speakers we already had. This works perfect.
