I had 5.1 speakers in my bedroom. My 2002 receiver didn't have new modes or HDMI. I replaced the TV and decided to modernize everything. I am very happy on how it works as a system.

Easy to setup and use. Just overall excellent product.

Only comment is there is a problem if the receiver is not initially connected to a television. The "Setup" is not completed so every time you turn on the receiver the "Setup" prompt comes up and the "Setup" button has to be pushed before you can select your audio. I submitted a request to Onkyo if there is a way to fix this situation but never heard back.

I like Onkyo AV gear, so it was an easy choice. It served the purpose that I bought it for.

Wasn't sure about open box, but got everything except the actual box and works great, like new/in new condition.

I am very happy so far with this Onkyo surround receiver.

Excellent value for the money paid. Was easy to set up 4 spekers and a subwoofer for soembody that has absolutely no idea what they were doing The instructions were very clear and the initial set up on the TV was easy to follow. Definitely recommend this product!

Nice unit! It took a bit to set up the speakers, as to be expected. The set up screens were easy to navigate. It was an open box deal so I saved a lot on it. It was in great condition for an open box. I had a Yamaha receiver but it finally died and I wasn’t best pleased on how it worked anyway. Greay product! I am very happy with my purchase!

Great value. Sound quality is great with my ceiling speakers and subwoofer.

Great sound. Purchased for playing music. Set up required connection to tv which i wasnt expecting.

Zone B was difficult to track down on how to use. There were restrictions of when it could be used. The older models were straight forward in its usage.

Good value. Easy to use and integrates all my electronics, TV, radio, Bluray DVD, and cable box, thru one device and one remote control.

Volume is low. I can't hear my blue tooth from the phone until it hits 65. Doesn't connect well. I still can't connect it to the TV.

You all don’t know what you’re missing without this receiver because when i hook my phone to it with iradio it changes everything for an amazing experience of true sound.. getcha one..!!
