The amount features this camera has is overwhelming for someone who loves video like me. I was in the market for a good video camera and this exceeds expectations. It will take some getting used to but I love it after using it for a few months. I recommend you watch reviews, look at sample footage, and view sample images to see if it suits you but for an entry level price with great 4k video this is very good.

I read and watched a lot of reviews before buying this camera. I was debating between this and the canon T6i. I was upgrading from a canon T3 which was really showing its age. I thought at less than $500. The G7 was a bargain. The camera has nice build quality and feels nice in the hand. The dial buttons are laid out pretty well. I found the kit lens great, but very awkward to use because it is so small. I found the menu system way too over complicated and the amount of options was a little overwhelming. The video quality was great right out of the box. But I bought it for mainly taking pictures. And for a the most part taking them in auto. For me the pictures were a huge disappointment. I did a few comparison shots with my iPhone 7 plus and canon T3. They were both better than the shots from the G7 . Especially in low light. I ended up returning the camera and getting the T6i which does exactly what I want.

Great clean HDMI output! Using it for live music lessons. Great value and I have left it powered on with a dummy battery 24/7 for the last 3 years. Panasonic is a solid brand!

I like the camera good weight and quality. I just wish there was a good case. Also the memory card that is best for it isd not clearly marked on the outside of the box

Picture quality is spectacular. The camera isn't too heavy so it's easy to handle.

Bought for my Niece 16 birthday. The features and overall handling feels amazing. The touch screen works great and being able to flip it around if your handling the camera yourself makes it east to ensure your capturing everything you want to.

Still learning everything about this camera. I do like that it is lightweight. Just wish I knew more about how to get some of the features to work better. For example, if there is a button to zoom in or out on the camera. Or which version to use for nighttime. I will need to read the manual.

this camera is amazing, by fat the best camera for the price, the lens it came with is very versatile. This camera has so many functions, yet its small enough to just carry every where. i love the built in wifi so i can easily send images/videos straight to my phone and it keeps the resolution. Takes clear images and crisp videos. shoots 4k!

This camera is a good low-budget 4k camera for beginners

Don't get me wrong, but I wasn't expecting a Panasonic digital camera to be as good as a Canon (my current one). However, this one got me wrong. This is an outstanding camera. The 4K video is of real good quality. Light-weight, bluetooth enabled etc. Perfect bang for the buck, you won't be disappointed.

Having experience with both traditional and digital cameras, I was looking for something a person with o only digital experience could grow with. I was impressed to find a camera that has a point and shoot price, with at least the most important settings that a more traditional camera requires. Well done. With knowledgeable staff, and a nice selection, I walk away from Best Buy happy

I bought this camera for streaming and vacations. It's absolutely great for both! Compatible with my capture card and has a clean display. The battery lasts for at least two hours.

I did my research on this camera and it has really great reviews on YouTube and etc. I really enjoy using this camera and it has a lot of great features. It takes great photos and videos. I picked up the 25mm f/1.7 lens also and it’s a killer combination! The lens kit that it comes with is great too!
