It was very easy to program and set up, the app is very could used some minor updates but overall no complaints ,this petfeeder has been absolutely wonderful, our puppy is home alone 7 hours and if we leave him food he will eat it the moment I give it to him. The Petnet allows us to feed him on a daily schedule. Our puppy loves it. Every time he hears the machine he comes running to it

This is amazing! I was able to go on a 4 day trip with no worries if my 3 cats would run out of food!

I really wanted to like this pet feeder but unfortunately there has been one problem after another. It jams constantly and apparently the company listened to customers and now provides a free incline ramp to help the food dispense better. I actually now have the free ramp and it doesn't help much. The real design flaw is with the opening from the hopper to the bowl. It is so small that the food jams in it constantly. If you have extremely small kibble I think this wouldn't be an issue. Our dog kibble is actually fairly small and it still jams. In addition, the feeder does go offline for no apparent reason. This is what is driving me to write this review....taking it back to BestBuy today. Hopefully they release an updated version of this unit with the design flaws corrected.

Works great and is very easy to use with the app. Only downside is that if you feed too much it will get backed up and jammed and won’t push out all the food. I had to set mine up where it’s tilted and small feeding portions. I needed one to go out of town so it got the job done but I will probably look into getting a different one

Sends notifications when fed. Might have to adjust amount of food, times if pet doesn’t eat as much. Only reason not 5 stars is food will jam if there is still a lot of food in bowl.company fixed this will send free slope for bowl so will dispense better.

I had the PetSafe auto feeder and I loved the convenience of it, but I wanted something I could control from my phone. Initial reviews of this item said they had trouble with the food getting stuck on the ramp, but PetNet released a riser/ramp to correct this issue. I have the ramp(it was free) and have had no issues with food(Science Diet cat food) getting stuck. I have not had any misfeeds in the few months I've had it. You can also have food auto delivered to your door for a similar price to big box pet stores with the first three bags free! My only complaint is that pairing my phone with the bowl took way too many tries. This is a must buy for any cat or small dog owner.

Not having to worry about your pet being feed on a timely basis is just one more stress reliever in your life. And this item can definitely help with that. I would highly recommend getting the free ramp adapter as soon as you get this item and prop the back end up temporarily with a book or something until you get it. It helps the food move down the chute better. Also, split your feedings up so that less food piles up in the bowl at one time. This prevents it from getting clogged. Follow these instructions and you will LOVE this thing. I have a cat and I have to leave him a couple of nights out of the month. Instead of letting him trough feed for those days, I know he is getting the right amount of food each time. He even hears the food being dispensed now and comes running for it. Oh, and one more thing, keep the stainless steel bowl cleaned out on a regular basis. It helps the food slide down better.

Quick summary: works great with big dogs, no serious tech issues, needs to be steeper to allow food to fall Long review: I bought this feeder for my Collie-GS mix (90lb dog) because he required 3 meals and it was not possible to give a consistently timed meal during the day. This feeder has worked great! The app is very user friendly and the system has had every brand of dog food (and we have had to try a lot) in it. There isn't an alarm that goes off, but my dog has had no problems hearing the food fall into the metal bowl regardless of where he is in the house (~1800sq ft house). A lot of reviews talked about the system going offline or having problems but I have had no serious issues, sometimes I will have to force quit the app and reopen it but this has not affected the feeder dispensing food in any way. Reason for 4 stars: I had to put a contraption under the back of the feeder to give it an angle so food would continue to fall while my dog was eating. This has really been the only problem I have had with this feeder.

This is our second Petnet (one for each pet) Not only does it work great and the setup was super easy, it helps keep your pets on a regular schedule while also controlling their portions. the added plus the the low food reminder for you to order more food!

I love this thing. It’s a little loud when it’s dead quiet and I’m trying to sleep in. (I have the feeder right outside my bedroom which only has a sliding barn door). I have it set to feed my pup 3 small meals a day. It alerts me when she’s fed, even connects me with my Nest camera so I can see her live. I work odd hours and this thing has saved me the guilt of missing a meal if work runs late. Also alerts me with plenty of time if the hopper gets low on food. I refill it about once every 10 days.

I love the app, the ease of use, and the feeder. My only issue is that the feed button is on the front. My puppy figured out how to use is one day and over fed herself. Don't worry; you can turn off the feature. As well, the chow sometimes gets caught on the ramp. Other than that, I like the product. It does what I expect it to and makes being at worry less stressful because I get notifications pushed to my smartphone telling me that my dog has been fed.

I always had trouble finding someone to go feed my cat when I would take trips. This feeder allows me to take a trip knowing that my cat will be fed. And the app sends you notifications every time he gets fed!

I loe the PetNet feeder. Our dog has digestive issues and gulps her food down in seconds. This allows us to control her feeds over time. Seems to be good for any size dog.

Feeder is a little pricey but works well. It took me a while to get my phone to read and attach to the feeder. App is decent paired up with it but could use some improvements. Feeder itself is fairly easy to use. Just fill the food at the top and itll do the rest. Satisfied

I replaced an older automated feeder with this as I like to keep my pets on a regular feeding schedule even when my schedule is not, and I'm happy with it. The food dispensing amounts seem accurate, the notifications are a nice feature, and the times are accurate. I would like to see the ability added to dispense a meal early as my old feeder had and better support for multiple pets.

We used this while we were in vacation and it worked perfectly. Easy instructions and we were able to monitor with our phone app. Well worth it!

This Smart PetFeeder is perfect! Set up is very easy both the physical set up of the device and the "virtual" setup to Wifi (most of the time spent was unpacking the unit to be honest). Once I unpacked all pieces and assembled it following the easy instructions, the next step was to install the app on my iPhone and sync it to the feeder. I have poor internet service so the download of the app took awhile. I work in one state and live in another and as long as the feeder is connected to Wifi you can dispense food by manually sending a notification to dispense or you can set a schedule so the food is dispensed and in the quantity you pre-select. The app alerts you when you are running low on food and also alerts you when you have filled up the dispenser. Only problem is if you are located in a place with a poor connection, the app will not load and you cannot dispense food remotely. The device also has a manual feed button in the event you are in the house and don't want to use the app to dispense food. Also, the device has to remain plugged in at all times. In the event of a power outage however, it has a backup battery installed that will kick-in for several hours. I truly think this was a worthy purchase especially for a busy professional family always on the go.

I would give it a 5 star rating, but it really is meant for 1 cat, I have 3. So the stats are squirrely. I also used different foods in the feeder for variety, so it really can't figure out the nutritional of what is being fed. Overall a fantastic unit!
