These speakers are great for anyone looking for some good sound for a great value. While they might not measure up in sound quality as the big name speaker brands, they are much closer than that of the similar competition out there.

Excellent speakers for the money.The sound is crisp and clear.I use these for the surround back speakers along with the pioneer elites front,center,and surround in my 7.2 system

PIONEER is a great brand name & their speakers always sound great.

These speakers replaced a pair of 30 year old Radio Shack speakers in my work shop. I'll have to say that for the age of the old speakers they had held up quite well. These are very nice looking and the bass response was impressive for such a small speaker. I'm very happy with them.

Needed some small shelf speakers to use along with the sound bar and these work well.

I bought these as rear speakers to finish my home theater setup and they sound great. They compliment all my other speakers nicely and sound good with my pioneer reciever.

I bought a Bose Home Theater but was unhappy with it because it tended to have a wierd surround effect that could not be turned off. They call it Bose technology but somehow I was not impressed. So I switched gears and bought individual Pioneer components and built-my own home theater. Bought Pioneer amplifier, tall standing front speakers and this book shelf speaker for surround. Sounds great and would surely recommended this setup that worked for less than $500

I was looking for speakers that had good sound and would compliment my Pioneer receiver. They don't take up much room and produce very nice sound.

Great quality but bulky, that's I don't mind. It sounds great for the price.

After reading about these in the Audio Magazines I thought to just buy a pair and listen to them. Upon first listening I head a very good soundstage. Then I noticed that the speakers reacted differently when there was a cable change, or equipment change. I tweaked my system until I was satisfied with the speakers performance. I used Dynaco ST70 Modified, and an Anthem Amp 2 Hybrid amp with an Marsh preamp and various gear. The SP-BS22's surprised me with a wonderful soundstage which was wide and deep and the height was almost as good as my 63" Apogee Centaur Major Ribbon Speakers. Dynamics were actually very good but not as good as my main speakers. Of course I used 2 Dali Acoustic Suspension 12" subwoofers which blended very well with them. I was amazed in all areas except the weight of the vocals and certain instruments In My Opinion. Someone looking for a great speaker for the bedroom or office should look at these as they are a wonderful product. Soon I will compare them to my Spica TC50's which were 3 times the price about 20 years ago and I still own a pair.

We needed speakers for our tv and these were perfect for what we needed them for. Sound quality is very good. Best Buy assistant was good in demonstrating a comparison which helped in our decision making.

This speaker is great for my large tv as a base system that can be augmented with matching floor speakers and/or center channel speakers.

The sound for the size and price is better than anything I have heard for small bookshelf speakers. The build is very heavy and solid, which enhances the sound and range.

I needed to replace my Sony surround sound speakers. I already replaced my Sony floor speakers with Pioneers and added these to make the set. Great speakers, great price.

I bought this pair of speakers in hurry in store, didn't have time to think too much. But the result is great and I am very satisfied with the purchase. They produce great and powerful sound.
