1 serious issue ruined this otherwise great mouse

Overall it's a good in the hand mouse, with good performance. However there's a big issue with MY usage. I bind the scroll wheel, including the middle click to certain functions. The scroll wheel axle is fixed on the left where it pivots, the middle click switch is on the right. A slight side press of the scroll wheel will trigger a middle click. It's a design flaw, Razer support says it's a feature, of course.

this mouse goes to battery so fast and then the mouse will stop working then you got to pull the battery out and then put it back in to get to work again I tried to use the two-year warranty that came with a mouse but they refused and said it was out of warranty but it was not. I will not buy another product of theirs again

I would have given this mouse 5 stars for its incredible wireless feature. Was my favorite mouse, had it for 5 months upon writing this review. I’ve never dropped it, always took care of it when using it. However, yesterday I dropped the mouse and the battery fell out. That’s okay just pop it back in and get back to business. Sad to say the mouse was no longer connecting to my computers Bluetooth, or even connecting it via 2.4 mode upon dropping it. The laser light won’t turn on and the mouse is now useless to me. The light on top blinks which means it is on at least, I even tried replacing the battery thinking that would solve the issue. Next step would be to trouble shoot the software, but it’s a hassle figuring out how to do it. If I figure out the issue I will change my rating on the mouse. Want my advice, save your 50 dollars and spend it else where. Because it is obvious Razor has cut corners when making their products. This isn’t the first mouse that I’ve bought from them that has broken with in literal months. Really wish they’d actually care at making their mouses durable just as much of it being accessible to use.

Awesome mouse that isn’t overpriced. Some of the ones available that are wireless were priced at $150.

I think this is a good mouse. The feet made noise on my mouse pad which bothered me. I did end up returning it and getting the Razer Basilisk Ultimate. There is a $100 difference, but there is a noticeable premium feel to the ultimate version. I would recommend this mouse for casual normal task, not so much for gaming.

    Great G502 Alternative!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Having grown fond of the G502 styled design I was very bummed when I developed double click issues with mine. However during a Black Friday Sale I saw this Razer version styled almost exactly in the same manner! It fits in your hand great if you're coming from a G502! It is very light and very accurate. It is ran off of batteries which I like and do not mind since they last a LONG time! So no need to start charging mid game with a inconvenient cable. You do have to use the Razer software to customize hot keys or DPI but it has an onboard memory you can save to so you don't have to have it running in the bg at all times!

I love that this mouse is sleek and very comfortable, has both Bluetooth and a USB dongle (in case you need a higher polling rate or have a device without Bluetooth) and that you can map the buttons through Razer Synapse. I bought this mainly for office use so I use Bluetooth instead of the dongle. Battery life is a bit better over Bluetooth (great regardless of connection type), I don't need to use a USB port on my laptop and it connects immediately. If you're considering this for gaming there's a couple more upsides, first being that it goes up to 16000 DPI so you can make it as sensitive as possible (or not) with Razer Synapse. Possibly the bigger upside is that it's not a rechargable mouse it takes a single AA battery (included) so if it dies while gaming it should be fast enough to remove the magnetic cover and swap the battery. All this plus a competitive price makes it an easy choice!

HIghly responsive, sleek and clicky. It is a gaming mouse but it does not scream it. I could take it outside in public and it would not automatically be noticed. Got it on discount but even at full price, it is worth it. I have used it a decent amount and I still have not had it die on me. Very easy switch from 2.4 to bluetooth which allows me to switch between laptop and ipad (thought the dpi is very sensitive on an ipad screen)
