I brought my car to Best Buy on Friday, March 2nd for the installation of the remote start. Although it took much longer than the initial 2 hours that was referenced when I purchased the unit, the technician was very personable and professional. However, during the installation process my steering column was cratched. I was made aware of the damage and a claim was completed ..... I have yet to hear ANYTHING back!

Got the free install with a special buy, they did a great job, finished fast and explained well. Best part is if anything goes wrong bring it back and they fix it no charge.

The Greek squad installation was awesome. Make sure before purchasing an alarm or remote start for your vehicle, that you talk to the installer. It is easy to buy the wrong product.

The box of the product said that I would have the capability of close range starting of my vehicle via the factory key fob. The installer did not check to confirm and I was told after the installation was complete that the factory fob would not work. I would not have purchased this product if I had been told up front. I called the tech helpline and they said that I would have to purchase an add on fob kit to have that capability.

Out all of of the stores in Charlotte NC. The Pineville locations has the best availability. Best customer service, best car install. Choose this store. It'll be worth it.

Ordered remote start from BB web site and got one of the models recommended. Also made an appointment to have it installed. Was notified via e-mail that it was at store. I assumed that since it was being installed there, that was the best place for it. Was then notified, 4 days before installation, that if I didn't pick it by the next day it would be sent back. I picked it up. The next day at 7 pm I was called by GS and informed that the item I had would not work on my vehicle. Was also told they had one that would work but it was a little more money. It was however on sale for the same price. Since the sale was ending that day I had to go to store and buy it. I am a disabled vet, so I put my brace and my clothes on. Went out in a cold rain to buy the new unit and return the one that wouldn't work. It was 7 pm Sat and store closed at 9. On the following Mon I went to have it installed. I was told that they still weren't sure it the new unit would work on my 2017 Nissan. They did install it, it works and the installation itself was done well. I checked your web site and the unit that I had to go and buy on Sat was still on sale. In fact it's still on sale today. I'm glad everyone doesn't treat disabled vets this way.

We are in a southern state so cold is not something we have much of. But the 2 days it was in the 30s I loved being able to start my van before going out. It worked like expected.

I made an appointment online and called day of to confirm time and geek squad tech still kept me waiting over 10 mins despite there being no other customers. Phone conversation estimated 2 hrs installation time, tech told me it would be more like 3 hours. Remote starter eventually worked, but the process could have gone smoother. Next time I’d be more likely to try my neighborhood mechanic.

This is my 2nd remote starter through bestbuy. Love the 2-way function and extended range (3000 ft) of this unit. Ray at Racine install shop is great to work with.

Installation took approximately 4.5 hours, however I would rather wait and have a job well done versus rush and sacrifice quality. All in all great work Geek squad
