Splitting the audio feeling the sound, when I want

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I specifically used this device because I needed to split the HDMI output from my TiVo to the TV & Audio/Video Receiver. The issue is that the 55 inch LCD TV only has an audio output to connect a set of head phones. The problem is, that it is on the back of the TV and unless the cable is unplugged there is no sound coming out of the TV speakers. When watching an hour show or news I do not want to have to turn on the receiver in order to get audio. Only when I am watching a movie or special event do I want to be surrounded with the rumble of sound, so that you just don't hear it you feel it.

The Build Quality is fantastic while all inputs and outputs are rigged and feel premium. The only downside would be that it still uses a micro-usb charging cable. Would be great if in the future to update this device with usb-c charging. Overall, it is an easy solution that is literally Plug'n'Play and your off the races.

It will give you two monitors with the exact same image as your laptop. I could see this being valuable for someone who has multiple TVs and they want the same image on all while only controlling one.

I was concerned that it might not work because of the "hand shake" required between 2 different formats. Not to worry; it works perfectly in this application. The only thing I notice is that it will temporarily (a few seconds) lose connection if I turn on the second set while the other is on. This is not a real problem and is to be expected while it connects to the second set. It works perfectly in my application. Highly recommended if you have a need to split your HDMI device.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Splitter works good, however I’ve had some minor streaming oddities on PC (the oddities only occur in one of the TVs) not a huge deal all other devices split signal great with no issues (I have a hub going into the splitter). Not too concerned about the PC video issue because that TV has always had some strange things happen when a PC is connected. PC gaming is not the issue, it’s with video playback and not a big deal I can just playback on Xbox instead, looks better anyways.
