Usable but not without issues...

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fairly well with my 8tb drive fast speeds when plugged into the correct USB slot on my laptop. Although if I let the drive sit unused for too long there can be delays in accessing the data again. The drive takes about 20-30 second to start working again after 5 or so minutes of rest. In rare cases, generally if I put the laptop into sleep mode without unplugging the drive, the laptop will be stuck in sleep mode and an emergency power off is required to get things working again.
