Just sounds horrible and cheaply made. I have all Samsung appliances and very happy with the rest, but I can’t mount this microwave sounding like this... I’ll be looking for something else.

I have all matching samsung appliances and this model was the only one to fit our built in cabinet. I had read reviews about how badly the open/close button malfunctions, but was hopeful that I would have a different outcome. Alas, that was not to be. The button sticks after being pushed in and we have to hit the door like "The Fonz" to make it pop open. I would like it if it had "minute buttons". Like a quick one minute heat up. Other than that, it is a nice microwave. Just put a real handle on the door please!

Here is the user manual for troubleshooting unresponsive buttons. Page 33 contains instructions for buttons that won't press properly. Note that this microwave has no minute button, but the 30-second button can be used for quick cooking. Turn to page 20, "Time increment."
