I really wanted the Sony version of this TV because I really love to tinker with the picture quality settings to dial it in perfectly and Sony gives you more options in that regard. Ultimately I chose this based on price and I'm not disappointed. I'm pretty happy using the filmmaker mode in the picture settings. Gaming on this TV is also amazing using consoles, although I've noticed it doesn't retain picture settings from my last gaming session. It always wants to reset to full brightness and contrast which is a bit too bright for my liking. I don't own a gaming pc but I've gathered from reviews that it is great for that as well. There is an option to calibrate the colors using an app on your phone but i haven't felt the need to do that yet, as I wanted to view the out of the box settings for a while first. Ultimately I'm happy with my purchase and don't regret holding it for the Sony.

I was in the market for a gaming TV to be used with a PS5 it would replace a 2018 Samsung NU8000 LED. 1st purchase was an LG C3. Total let down. When in LG’s Game Optimizer mode graphics are dim with poor highlights. I was immediately disapointed. Returned the next day. 2nd purchase was a Sony A80L. I liked it a little better than the LG and it did make the PS5 look good. Highlights were better than the LG, but again it was too dim in game mode and Madden 24 was really dim. Movies looked great on A80L though. 3rd purchase was Samsung S90C. The local store I bought the first two TVs did not carry the Samsung, had to travel a to another store. This thing is a gaming beast. No issues with brightness. Very responsive. Graphics look great. Highly recommend for gaming!

Amazing picture quality upgraded my tv after many many years, this is my first OLED extremely bright no glare when looking at tv from the side, and the colors is the main reason why anyone buys a oled and this one is excellent I use it for gaming and to stream movies and shows

Excellent TV - the colours pop, either you are in a room with a fair amount of natural light coming indirectly at the TV (oriented North but with a lot of windows) or you are fully in the dark. The darks are truly black vs dark grey from the previous generation of OLED TVs. With the Samsung S90C OLED you do not have to wonder if you need a QLED or an OLED: you get the best of both worlds. If you have $1,600 taxes included) to spend on a TV that is going to last for a long time with high quality, this is the TV you need! The sound is not nearly as weak as with previous models but for your investment, you want to pair this TV with the Samsung - Q-Series 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar w/Q-Symphony - Titan Black. The automated synchronization and tune of the sound bar and the TV makes it perfect for most shape of rooms you find in 99.9% of the houses. My previous TVs were Samsung and their qualities never weathered. I fully trust the brand and the quality.

Caviot: Make sure to purchase in store and ensure geek Squad will deliver, not third party. The third party delivery service is abysmal! There is no communication between third party and best buy. Took a chance with delivery and install only to have the driver refuse delivery due to 'rain' at 6pm had little to no communication and burned an entire day (appointment window was 08-11am) Customer service has no information or help after its in third party delivery service queue. After several calls and a visit to the local store, had to pick up and self install the following day because online reschedule is broken from delivery day onward. Since then have had 3 calls from the 3rd party delivery install service, each ruder than the last and had to repeat several times it was already picked up and done. ATTN Best Buy, do NOT use a 3rd party service that tells you to reschedule it yourself and calls the person without informing you what the call is for, if not for picking up the TV and installing myself, I would of canceled the whole order after the driver responded to 'May I ask who is calling' with 'who's calling is none of your business, are you (insert name)' like some credit collection harassment call. THAT SAID! THE Samsung S90C 55" is amazing and definitely worth considering. The picture quality, brightness, color are all top notch (room gets natural light but not alot, Bright rooms may have it appear dim in comparison to Led panels). Just make sure to take the time to turn off ABL (it's aggressive and noticeable).

My first QD-OLED! I love it so far. Vivid colors and and a noticeable increase in peak brightness compared to my A80j. Tizen is smoother this year which is great. The lack of Dolby vision isn’t an issue. Both HDR 10 and 10+ look fantastic. Also the best gaming tv I’ve ever owned.

Do you want sports games, movies, and shows to look real? Do you want unbelievably bright color for animated shows and movies for your kids? OLED is simply unbelievable. Plus, the audio quality actually has bass, as well. This is the best Samsung OLED TV! It doesn’t come colors to our old blue tinted and dark LED TV. Buying this OLED TV never made me second guess my decision. Unbelievable picture, sound, and quality. You truly won’t regret it. Now, my friends and family always want to watch games And movies at our house, now. Just go for it.

Had this TV for about 3 weeks. So far so good. Picture is great, if maybe a bit too bright at times for my taste. I do like that I can customize picture clarity and tone down the hyper contrast (what you see on display in the stores). There's a film maker mode I like a lot but it's only available for certain content you come across. Downloading apps was easy and intuitive. I opted to use a wired LAN vs WiFi, and even with that wired connection, things seem to buffer a bit more than with the external Roku on our old set up. I really hope this TV lasts for at least 6 years. We pair this with the Symphony soundbar (separate review) and they work flawlessly together and deliver rich sound without going full rich person home theater mode.

Excellent picture quality, fast refresh rate, pretty easy to understand interface, and allows you to maximize Xbox Series X/PS5 optimal performance. A little pricey, but definitely gives you your money’s worth! Especially if you can catch a sale!

Love the new TV. The picture is bright, crisp and incredibly clear. We had our old TV for so long I didn't realize how incredible the colors would look with the new technology. It's also very easy to use and I am not at all technologically savvy.

We've had this TV for a bit over a month, and are really appreciating the great picture and ease of use. We upgraded from an older "smart" TV where we had to rely on a Fire Stick for any variety of streaming. This is so much faster nicely streamlined. Read some reviews about reds and orange colors being overstated, but we just went through the setup menu and have not had any of those issues. The colors are great, the sound is good and has some ability to help the dialogue compete with all the other noise the producers seem to think people with ears thrive on. I count this purchase as a win. We did decide to add on a matching S60B sound bar, and that works well, too, all controlled with one remote.

Amazing picture. Beautiful for gaming. Very low input lag and the colors just pop. Only complaint is, I wish Samsung used Dolby Vision. Other than that. Amazing.

I’ve owned this tv for a year. I gotta say I’m blown away by the picture quality still. I enjoy playing Xbox series X and Ps5 on it. Also watching Netflix, and other streaming apps. The S90C is an amazing product. I would highly recommend buying one. I got the 55inch. If I were to do it again, I’d get the 65 inch.

This TV is worth the price, I highly recommend it. I was a bit iffy about getting this one vs the LG OLED C3, but this one I can say is way better. The picture quality is outstanding.

So easy and straight forward to set up. I absolutely love the image and sound quality. It has a beautiful sleek design to it. I love my new TV!!!

Excellent picture. Deep colors and crystal clear picture

This tv is the best of both worlds. The new QD-OLEDs offer the benefits of the brightness and vibrant colors of a QLED and the perfect blacks and contrast of an OLED. Whether youre a movie buff or a video gamer this tv is for you. Moive and tv picture quality is superb and all 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 so it support next gen gaming at 4k 120hz as well as vrr, allm, freesync or g sync. Input lag is pretty non existent. Great tv all around.

Tv is a good size. Incredibly clear picture with very vibrant colors. Even the old black and white movies are sharper. As a smart tv it is easy to access subscriptions and free channels. It was easy to set up and program to the way we wanted. Volume isn’t bad alone, but we did add a sound bar. Lots of options for color, sound, etc to personalize to your own liking.
