Frequent display blackouts on PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased this TV and it works fine for everything except my PS5. Frequent screen drop-outs take place and this apparently is a widespread problem (do a Google search for "S95C PS5 drop-outs") I have tried multiple HDMI cables and different ports with no luck. It works fine on other TVs. I highly recommend avoiding this TV and the manufacturer should recall it.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with Samsung's S95C OLED. I'm sorry to hear of the intermittent screen black outs you've noticed while in Game Mode.
To ensure you've got the latest connectivity updates, please make sure your TV is running the most recent firmware version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
If you're still receiving a "no signal" message from your console, here are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Please make sure your TV and console are both running the latest firmware versions.
2. Connect your console to HDMI port number 3.
3. Turn on Input Signal Plus. Press Home and navigate to Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Input Signal Plus and turn it on for HDMI 3
4. Enable Anynet+. Go to All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = On
5. Make sure Game Mode is set to Auto or On though the TV's settings: All Settings > Connection > Game Mode Settings > Game Mode
I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product.

Sub-par picture and motion processing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally had the Sony A95K (screen turned green) but exhanged it for the Samsung S95C. The upscaling of the S95C shows alot of noise, especially in dark scenes of movies. The S95C has motion compensation settings but none of the settings fully eradicate stutter in regular cable content. The S95C tv is superb to watch native 4k content (Samsung doesn't support dolby vision) and to play video games. Samsung does supports HDR 10+ but content is scarse. Samsung needs to work on their video processing and motion compensation if they want to keep up with Sony and LG.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S95C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.
If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:

Crap TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute piece of crap! Bought it 21 months ago for $3,300.00 and now the screen is blacked out and the cost of repair would be more than buying a new TV. Found out the “one connect’ is a bad system and they no longer make it. I was one of their guinea pigs. What a waste. Now I have to go out and buy a new TV. I’ve owned at least a dozen Samsung’s, but not anymore. I’m going to buy a Sony.

My experience
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t really write a review about the TV but what I can review is the horrible shipping/delivery of my TV. The ability to look at anything that you order is an absolute joke. My TV is sitting in a DC somewhere. I could get it delivered faster by horse and buggy. I will look elsewhere when considering a TV purchase or anything for that matter.

||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV stopped showing picture less than a year after purchase. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I opened the box went through the hassle of assembling the stand just to find that there is a large 2 inch dent in the frame, front of the panel. Posted .ChrisE,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Samsung’s S95C TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue:
1. Check the One Connect cable for damage and solid connection. Disconnect and firmly reconnect the One Connect cable at both ends.
Note: If the One Connect cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, or has a heavy object on top of it, it can cause an issue. The cable needs to be replaced if damaged.
2. Disconnect the One Connect Box (either by disconnecting its power cord, or the One Connect cable) to see if the TV displays an error message.
If you see anything (like a message or picture) on the TV after disconnecting the One Connect Box, the One Connect Box needs to be replaced.
If the TV is plugged into a wall outlet, turned on, and disconnected from the One Connect Box, but no message appears, your TV will need service.
3. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues.
Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).
4. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1.
If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time, from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.
After you've reconnected the external device, turn it off and then back on.
5. Run HDMI Troubleshooting
Using HDMI Troubleshooting, you can check the connection to HDMI cables and external devices (takes approximately 2 minutes). Menu > Connected Devices > Connection Guide > Video Device > HDMI Troubleshooting
If the issue persists after these steps, please contact Samsung Support so we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution. Samsungs improved TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is definitely colorful and very bright, and im happy samsung kept going with QD oled. Audio is good, but every tv no matter the brand needs a soundbar. Sounds good a with q symphony but samsung hasnt got its OS bugs out. Hope they dont nerf the brightness like they did on thr s95b. I definitely like the one connect, game changer. Had it on my ks8000. Overall id buy again.

Phenomenal picture quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay Im going to say forst that the customer service is slow from Samsung. However I had an 65 inch s95b. It was grat until it got a green line across the screen. It was still under warranty. Samsung took too long to get thigs right. However because things went so poorly with repair they upgraded me to the newer model. The 65 inch s95c. It's slightly better than the previous gen qd-oled i had. I have all Samsung TVs in my house. A crystal UHD and a couple qleds. This TV is top tier. For real if you buy it, it's becuase you want the best picture on the market. It is exactly that. For real i only use this TV for gaming the the occasional HDR movie. It truly is a stunning picture. People complain about the interface and glitching. I havent had any of those problem. Keep in mind though. Tizen vs any other TV platform is like the difference between apple and IOS. They just maneuver differently. So if you dont have other Samsung TVs just know before oyu buy that it's not like others. It works perfectly fine though. Does whata TV should do. Again though you're buying picture quality on this TV... and it delivers "all that and a bag of chips".
