Huge improvement and 4 times the space. Stopped my pc from crashing when loading windows

I think I own three of these at this point, basically just always go for this M.2 when building new PC’s and always works great and just as intended. Haven’t had any die yet. Also I don’t think any M.2 is ever going to be noticeably different than any others, buy whatever you like, they’ll all perform roughly the same. I have made so many reviews and never won the dang $400 gift card, is it fake, a myth, a nonexistent goal like me losing 20 pounds??? wish me luck!

Works great. It was worth the money I paid for it: 6 months ago. I bought 5 including a 9100 4tb NVME.

It’s fast and reliable, the 4TB version will be large enough for any home user.

Blazing fast boot speed used for laptop. Tons of room for all the applications I could ever need on my laptop. Easy install.

I've been using this drive for about a month now, and it has been fantastic. Super fast read speeds, no issues at all. Samsung provides their cloning software called Magician as a free download from their website, and it was a simple task. Just select "from" drive and "to" drive, and click "go".... It took nearly 4 hours to clone my OEM drive with about 1.8TB of data on it, mostly media files. After a quick install, the laptop booted right up as normal, I checked for any updates, and was off and running again, this time with double the storage space... Yes, the drive actually has about 3.6TB of usable space, the rest is for operating files -- this is normal. This is plenty of onboard space for what I need, and I have an extra 1TB SD card slot if I ever get too crazy... I chose this over the WD Black, because the WD chip is too thick to fit in the SSD slot on the motherboard. The Samsung fits perfectly. I was not incentivized for this review, but it's not too late Best Buy and Samsung... ;-)

More speed, more space, more than enough. I went overboard on buying this drive vs others as I wanted something as future proof as I could find to drop into my old laptop, and now my new desktop. Plenty of space to hold my games and files.

This SSD works great and is very responsive/quick. Make sure you pair it with an enclosure that is good keeping the SSD cool. Otherwise, it will shutdown. At first, I paired this with a very attractive enclosure that matched the footprint and aluminum enclosure of the Apple M4 Mac Mini. That looked great, but the SSD kept shutting down. Good news is I did not lose any data. I switched to an enclosure with fins for better cooling. That stopped the shutdowns/disconnects. Very happy!

Used this in my new PC build. It is night and day compared to the regular 1TB SSD i had in my old build. The read and write speeds are significantly better than the old one. This also had a ton more storage to hold all the games i want on it.

Very fast SSD. Great addition to the Mac Studio M4 with the Satechi Hub stand! Highly recommend for storage expansion.

The only drive you really should be running that's the honest truth unless you're going to get a SK hynix which yes I know is slower but they make the controller for everyone else their drives are serious strong but so is the Samsung 990 pair this up with a be quiet cooler that has a copper tube in it the thing's going to run ice cold the drive works great it runs my gaming library

Awesome and easy to transfer data to it. I hate it purchased a western digital hard drive at first and it worked but the Samsung made it easier to get information from a dead hard drive and the price wasn’t bad for the significant size either.
