The salesman was exceptional. This phone was an upgrade from the old multimedia phone

This has been pretty easy to use and the camera is pretty good too. I went from a flip phone to this one and I haven't had any trouble adjusting to it. I got it for $7.00 a month for 2 years. Looking at others, I didn't need a ton of storage.

I wanted a cheap phone that does everything - this phone does that perfectly. It cost me only a fraction of the price of my last phone and I can't tell the difference, other than this one has a better voice mic, so I don't have to yell into the phone anymore. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to durability, but the screen is just as bright and clear as my last phone, I can get my emails, it takes pictures, and it accepted my old sd card, to expand the memory - super happy so far.

I moved from an old flip phone to this model. I'm getting the hang of using it and feel comfortable now answering emails and texts and doing some web browsing. Having a user guide that's can be saved and printed as a pdf helps - not all smart phones have them. That said, somethings still are not obvious, like needing to not only hit the green phone icon to answer a call but also swipe the screen (this prevents "pocket dialing" and the like but needed to be explained to me by an office colleague). Still, if you have to start somewhere, this is a decent model. comes with security built in (by knox). You will get many offers when you activate (cloud space, enhanced security, etc...). I just decline until I know what it is about.

I told the salesman at Best Buy that I wanted a good reliable phone at a reasonable cost. The Samsung J3 is that phone. It has all the functions and upgrades that I wanted. It is easy to use and the transition from my old Galaxy S4 mini was easy to do. I love it and I love the price. You courtesy and assistance in matching me with the right phone with no effort to try and oversell me on a pricier phone is appreciated.

I have never had a cell phone so this is my first. And wow, what an easy phone to use. I still don't know much about the "cell phone world" but I bought it for talk and text only and it is great! I get really good reception everywhere I go and I am able to stay in touch with important people as well as communicate with my boss. Since he does all his business by texting it is absolutely essential. The Best Buy staff made it real easy to understand and made buying this, my first ever cell phone, fun and enjoyable. Easy to use easy set up light weight and durable what more can u ask for ?

This phone has been very good for the price, never had a problem with anything. The pictures it takes are very nice and clear, and the same for the video recording. And it is a good size....not too big -don't like those huge phones at all. Would recommend.

I purchased this for my mother and she loves it. It’s easy to use if you sit down for a day and push buttons to see were it leads you. She learned how to use it in a day. If you click something you think you should not have all you have to do is click the back arrow and you are on the home screen. Anyone who can read should be able to use this phone. All smartphone users do is read the buttons before they select them. If it’s not the app they were looking for they press the back button and click until they figure things out. Sometimes old people think young people magically know how to use smart phones. We just read & tap until we find what we are looking for.

We got this phone for a really good price with one of the promotions. Although it doesn't have the largest screen available, it is really a good phone for the price. It has all the functions needed for a basic smartphone user. Good for younger children and senior adults!

I got this phone as a cheap last minute thing and it was the best phone vie gotten. the camera on it is actually really good the size inst too big or too small. it doesn't freeze or mess up.

Bought two of these as starter phones for my preteens. They use them for socialmedia, to make videos, take pics, and to even play games like roblox on. The only problem we've encountered with one of the two phones is that sometimes it won't recognize the 4g mobile data and says no internet connection. A quick restart has always fixed this problem tho. Also, a complaint I have that my kids don't, is you have to press the power button kind of hard to get it to respond. So they've gotten used to it, but I still thought it was worth mentioning.

Understand this phone is a for my father who is in his 80s. Its his first smart phone. I just needed something easy, with low frills, but with enough power to do what he needs it to do (answer/make calls, light web browsing, an occasional text, and maybe someday he will check email on it). It works well for him. I wouldn't buy this phone for myself, but its what he needed to take a step into the smart phone world. Phone has an Micro SD slot, and a removable battery, which is a big plus.

Very pleased with this purchase. Replaced a very old Samsung phone, with Samsung's smallest smart phone. Easy to use and price very affordable.

This is a basic smart phone thats easy to set up and use. There is a basic mode that only shows a few basic apps on the main screen which is perfect for someone who may be overwhelmed with the thought of using a smart phone. This is ideal for the elderly.
