    Can´t mirror the screen through VGA cable:(

    I absolutely love this little gadget and hate to have to return it; but it lacks one very important feature:( I am a teacher and I bought this Chromebook in order to use it at work (instead of carrying a heavy Macbook). I tried several USB C to VGA adaptors and none worked with the Chromebook. I can mirror the screen from an iPad, a Macbook, a PC computer and even from my phone! The adaptors I use work flawlessly. But there is no way to project anything from this Chromebook! How is it possible? Is there any USB C to VGA adaptor, which is compatible with a chromebook? Schools use old equipment and God knows when they will switch to HDMI cables... On the bright side, everything else works well on this machine. The touch screen and the speakers could be better, but the keyboard is fantastic, all apps and the chrome browser work very fast for basic needs, and the screen is very vibrant. I like the stylus as well, when you are in a tablet mode and need to click on something, or make a screenshot. You get a lot for 400$ and if it weren´t for the VGA problem, I would never take it back. Samsung or Chrome people, please help! There should be a compatible adaptor out there... I would have given this product 5 stars if was I able to use this device in the classroom. Thanks!:)

    Poor craftsmenship

    I really liked how this chromebook functioned. I previously had a macbook which was great. When it was time for a new computer i was told that because i am basically just an internet surfer and use the computer just for entertainment and paying bills, I didn,t need a MacBook. I was told this Samsung Chromebook would function similarly and be half the price. While it did function similar for what i need the device for, it was poorly built. I had it for about 7 months when the hinges came unconnected. I tried to do my own repair by just trying to put the hinges back in place but i cracked the bottom left corner of the screen, which was no big deal. When i brought it back to Best Buy i was told that because the screen was cracked that the manufacture would claim that i contributed to the hinge problem. I made the mistake in trying to save a few bucks, never again. It is a much better value to spend 1000 dollars on a macbook than spend 500 on this piece of junk. In closing, i took this chromebook to two independent repair stores and they were amazed at how it feel apart. Needless to say, both places said to scrap it and buy something new. I would add a picture but i dont know how.

    Worked great until it crashed

    After setting up the chromebook for the first time it worked great for 3 days then crashed. The screen read that the OS was missing or damaged. Basically, the only way to fix it was to reload the OS. I did this then the following week it did the same thing. This happened 3 more times after this all within a span of less than a month. I ended up bringing the chromebook back and Best Buy had to send it out to have it repaired. I am hoping they replaced the motherboard and did not just re-load the OS because it will fail again. The big issue is that the "Hard Drive" is soldered directly to the motherboard. So if that went, you can't just easily replace it or upgrade it to a larger size on your own. I think this was just a fluke because I have had great success with almost all Samsung devices.

    I bought this as a replacement for an old Samsung Tablet. The only time I use it is when flying on an airline. The rest of the time it's my wife's kitchen companion. I tried downloading movies from Amazon Prime. They wouldn't play properly. I tried accessing the American Airlines free in flight video. I was able to get the Wi-Fi but it only had a black screen when I tried to play a movie. It would stream live Amazon video, You Tube video when on-line no problem. I ended up returning this for a Pixel Chromebook Which worked fine for the downloaded videos but had the same issue with the American Airlines movies black screen.

    I purchased this 2 in1 for my daughter as a christmas gift for school work and youtube etc and had given it to her around Jan 4 by Jan 13th the screen no longer turns on at all tried all trouble shooting offline thinking its user error nope to no avail still not working now a brand new laptop device has to be shipped to the manuf for repairs not happy at all

    Considering the price range, despite being a chromebook; the overall usage was sluggish, and nothing to ride home about. Although, the display was beautiful, clear, and crisp the cameras and the stylus, were subpar. My reason for return was that several of the keys did not work. I was very disappointed with this purchase.

    Do not buy! The computer quit after a few months - completely dead and the customer service from Samsung is horrible!!!!!!!! I repeat do not buy! Horrible wait times and communication with Samsung - buy another brand do not buy Samsung - last time I will ever own Samsung

    Did not get to play with it at all as the trackpad sunk in on the first click. Sad but that should indicate this was either a lemon or the overall build quality is bad.
