We purchased this dishwasher because our old one that came with our house stopped draining and started leaking all over the kitchen. The Samsung dishwasher is a dream come true. It’s incredibly quiet, you practically have to put your ear to it to hear it, whereas our old one was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation anywhere in the house (I’m not kidding). I love that I can stop it if I find a stray mug or something that I forgot to put in there. I’m also pretty impressed that it’s got the flat rack up top for small flat items. Overall, a great dishwasher!

Cleans very well, even on the 60 minute express cycle. Easy to load with plenty of room. The top 3rd rack is very handy for spatulas, knives and large spoons. Our dishwasher is in an open concept kitchen area adjoining the living room and we can barely hear it when its running! NICE!

I’ve actually heard mixed reviews about Samsung dishwashers. A lot of the negative reviews were based on the dishes not drying. Samsung took care of this issue by placing a fan in the door. The door auto opens approximately three minutes before the cycle is complete and the fan turns on and blows the dishes dry. Amazing. Extremely impressed. However, I had in my cart the necessary power cord which apparently was removed from my cart for whatever reason and I’m not sure. And I had an installer waiting to install when he couldn’t do his job. Disappointed in that part but overall great.

This is the best dishwasher ever owned! It is very quiet and the dishes are cleaned sparkling clean without pre-washing them. No complaints at all!

I purchased this dishwasher two months ago and so far it's the best. It gets dishes and pots super clean, it has a nice sleek look, and it's the quietest dishwasher ever.

So far this dishwasher has been great. Simple design that blends well with the kitchen for a modern touch. The option to do a half wash (just the lower rack) is fantastic.

We are happy with the dishwasher. It does the job. Easy to load and our dishes fit well. Like the options for quick washes.

Blown away by its quiet operation. Incredibly efficient and the feature that opens the door when load is finished is impressive.

This dishwasher is awesome, has quick wash, which I love when in a rush! Very easy to operate! It’s awesome that it opens up automatically after it’s done ! Not all that water on all the dishes now!!! I havnt had time to use all the cycles yet but eveything so far is top!!!

This dishwasher was cheaply made. We have had it for just over a year, and the metal piece that holds the rubber gasket in place already broke. When the bottom rack is pushed in, it catches on the metal piece and pulls it loose. This is a definite defect and design flaw. We contacted Samsung and were told that we were outside the 1 year warranty period and would have to call a repair person. We paid for a repair man to come out, he said that he has seen this in several of these dishwashers, there is a pop rivet that comes loose and it is unable to be repaired. The only option is to contact Samsung and hope for a discount on a replacement. It is completely unacceptable that we should have to replace a 1 year old dishwasher for an obvious defect. Avoid this dishwasher.

Has plenty of rack space. Cleans great, looks great

we love this dishwasher. it always gets all the dishes clean, even when we stuff it over full. we have the 3rd top mini rack and its great for spatulas and big utensils and always gets the caked on crusty stuff off. the storm wash feature seemed like a bit of a sales pitch to me but we do use it quite a bit for big pots or pans with heavy starch build up on them and they always come out clean. all of the features work as advertised and we installed it ourselves. best buy delivered it to the kitchen and all the needed hoses etc and install was really easy. (cough, you tube, cough). if you have a slight bit of handy skill or a quick learner you can do it yourself. the top button panels can be hidden under the counter-top and you can just press the buttons you want with the door open, then shut and it will work, or, like we did, you can install it a bit out from under the counter-top so the buttons and screen are visible with the door closed. Ok, so the "bad" stuff now: i can't think of a lot of complaints after a year of use, but if I'm getting picky, the blue light that shows its running its VERY bright. at night, it lights up our whole kitchen. if its mounted under the counter-top, it probably wouldn't be as bad, but for us, its bright. not enough to complain but some people may not like that. you could put some electrical tape over it though or something and its fine. (MAYBE it can be turned off in the settings too..? i don't know. but speaking of settings, the door opening at the end of the cycle for air dry is actually kind of nice. i didn't think it would work great but it seems to help the drying process. samsung knows not everyone wants this though so there is an easy button press combo that will turn that off. there is also an...interesting song that plays when the wash is finished. we don't mind it and everyone gets a kick out of our dishwasher humming a tune so we leave it on, but it is also available to shut off. over all, we are really happy with this unit. it holds a lot of dishes, its customization is nice for both the racks and the system settings. its pretty darn quite and we don't even notice its on most of the time. stainless steel inside helps dry dishes and the door prop open at the end helps too so no need for annoying heat coils. you won't be disappointed with this dishwasher.

Wish this dishwasher stacked my pots, pans and dishes better. Sometimes it doesn't fully dry after the door pops out when the cycle is done. Hard to clean outside panel door and around the handle. Wish I would've gotten the other brand I was contemplating. A positive: it's quiet!

Stopped working 2 and a half years after purchase. Wish I went with a more simple dishwasher. Too many things can go wrong, Way to many bells and whistles! Not so easy to service yourself.

Looks marvelous, but sine purchased needed several service calls for various things, leaks, power loss.. buttons not responding etc…

The appliance is fine. Unfortunately, the delivery and company installation was painful.

I'm just now learning about the water leak detection system of this dishwasher and it is quite frustrating that even with the sensor dried off and the leak nonexistent, the code remains. How long does it need to be off power? 15 minutes at least. Back to the manual process of washing dishes I go.

Not sure how well this will function as I was unable to finish installing it. My item showed up without the necessary screws to secure it through the side walls. The written directions specify to use the included screws but none of the included screws were large enough to work. I called the support number (listed on the installation manual) and the only response I got was that they "recommend professional installation". The online installation manual clearly shows the additional screws I need (that were not listed in the installation manual it came with) but the support person did not understand that "professional installation" would not address missing parts. Based on this experience, I'm not likely to ever buy another Samsung appliance.

What a Beautiful designed piece of hardware. Black stainless is awesome. There is plenty of room inside for all the daily dishes. I really like the top shelf concept. Lids, knives, and big spoons will find a place on it. This unit is very quiet. You can only hear it when you are standing right next to it. Sometimes I wonder if its even on. Dirty dishes are always clean. Only 4 stars because the controls are limited. Otherwise it is a great buy.
