Works well as external boot drive for iMac

We used it as an external boot drive for our iMac, which had slowed down due to an aging internal HDD. Unfortunately it only gets about 300-400 mbps, but that's fast enough to make the desktop speedy again.

But after that is done you had best just hire out putting it to work. No prompts nor any usable help from Samsung. Not user friendly nor is it anywhere near to plug & play quality. I know I'll have to hire someone to transfer my saved hard drive data when it is time to replace my computer. Could only be set up to simply keep duplicate of my hard drive by using Windows One DRive to do the necessary work. No prompts nor help from Samsung. I like their kitchen products far better than their electronics. Ditto their TV sets, not user friendly, awkward, no comparison to my TCL/ROKU TV.
