Unboxing the Samsung Portable SSD T7 was a breeze. There's the actual storage device that is thin and smaller than my hand, 2 cords that can connect C to C and C to A. I thought maybe it needed charged before hand so I plugged it in. I couldnt find in the quick start quide if it needed to be or not. When I plugged the C cord into my Android phone, a tab dropped down to connect my files. It brings you to all the files in your device that you want to transfer. There are also other files already preloaded on the Portable SSD that is useful as well. It tells you how to make a password to protect your items, an app you can download, and a how to use the device. This SSD T7 is seriously the easiest thing to use!!! I transfered over 4000 pictures and videos in under 5min. This would be such a time saver for important work documents!! There is a 3 year warranty on it as well. Also drop resistant up to 2 meters! I do wish it came with a case however. I'd hate for the port to get damaged somehow. The Samsung SSD T7 is compatible with Windows, Mac, Android.

The samsung portable SSD T7 500 GB memory device is amazing. I love the password security feature which puts me at ease with the sensitive information that I like to keep on the drive. The small card size design is amazing and it doesnt heat up making it optimal for long sessions. The device loads fast and the file transfers are extremely fast. Having connectivity via usb-c and usb-a makes this perfect for moving information between my two computers. The blue color is also an amazing look.

Would not suggest this drive to anyone been trying for awhile to get any performance out of it bought it aug last year and right out the box didn’t perform near to anything they said it would did tons of trouble shooting and nothing reads at 42 and writes at 18 what a piece of junk never buying a Samsung anything just a money sink.

Small, compact, speedy, quick access storage. I was looking for a external drive to take on the go and this was it. Read and write speeds are on par for usb 3.2 drives. Very durable contruction.

The size and look of it are amazing. It's portable and simple to use too. The setup was quick and fast. The file transfer was quicker than I expected. Password security is comforting. The feature I liked is its compatible with mac, windows, and android. Overall its a good device that comes in handy.

What I like about this drive is, as long you as connect via a modern USB interface, 3.1 Gen2+ preferably, it is an amazingly fast external drive. It is won't be as fast your directly connected sata 3 or NVME M.2 drives, but it is a lot faster than a HDD for sure. Doing a transfer test from this drive to a WD Blue 7200 RPM, the HDD was saturated, ie 100%, and the T7 was as about 30% utilization. Its GB to dollar ratio is a bit high, but its physical size (its tiny) and convenience are worth it I think. Additional: It comes with two cable connectors. Type A to type C, and type C to type C. It comes with some encryption software as well. I did not explore it. It is of no use to me. It comes with no case. So you would need one of those.

It's hold everything I need it to hold for my games on my laptop that didn't come with much storage easy to take with me and play games with friends on there PCs

SSS is perfect size. Nice and slim can fit in your pocket. Supper fast as well

I purchased this to use with my new PS5. Great purchase!!!!!! Smoking fast, plenty of storage space, very small and not noticeable, and it looks cool. if you're looking for a SSD external drive this baby is great!!!!!

Awesome little portable drive, super fast, light, small. You can easily pack it in a bag or toss it in your pocket.

If you looking for a good portable SSD this is amazing. The speed is even slightly faster than sata connection and it included booth USB-c to USB-C and USB-c to USB-A just in case. I am not giving it 5 starts cause you have to configure windows a bit if you don't want it disconnecting every 6 to 8 minutes (Which is annoying if you are downloading something). Once I change the settings it had work great unless you make it do much work (such as downloading a game and playing a game from it too, it seems to disconnect during that).

This hard drive is awesome. Easy connection to my computer with fast speed. Easy to throw in a carry on.

Excellent SSD I have used it for about 2 years now and it's still going strong

This SSD has a speedy transfer rate. It's cable of moving content from your system directly on to it's format with little effort. I keep all of my pictures and there's still plenty of room. The look is sleek, it's quite small so you can place this in your pockets and the overall weight is light. I would recommend this product for storing all of your information without the use of something huge and too heavy to lug around.

Slim profile drive. Great capacity. The blue color makes it stand out in my laptop bag and on my desk. Very reluable

Been using a WD 2TB HDD external drive. Unfortunately, my VMs were starting to load extremely painfully slow. Load times would be anywhere up to an hour or maybe more depending on how slow or fast the HDD wanted to go at USB 3.0 speeds. Upgraded to the T7 just to have faster response times, and so far it has delivered that and reliability. And Its smaller in size compared to the old boy. Really liking this unit.

The Samsung External SSD allows me to transport documents and videos from my laptop (Macbook Pro) to the drive allowing for more space. This is my third one, and it has proven to be working to its fullest performance when holding files. So far, no corruption on any fills and its transports files really fast. The quality of the SSD is really high with it being made from metal. The box also comes with two short cables, a USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C. Even the unboxing is really clean.
