Like this lap top very much. Its light weight and fast. Thevpruce was very fair. Always had HP and my other lasted years.

I use this to back up my photos. I don't use it a ton, but it works fine, and I've had no issues with it. Speed seems fine.

My favorite portable SSD. I have a bunch of T5s, but things has been awesome. Super fast, well built.

Easy to use, good data transfer speed and very portable.

Sturdy, compact format. Blazing speed when hooked to a USB-C port. Two cords included--one USB-C to USB-C, and thee other USB-C to regular USB. The first cord is if your computer has a USB-C port. The second cord is if your computer only has a regular USB port. NOTE: this is great for short term storage. If you need something for long-term storage, you should get a regular external HDD instead.

Really solid external storage, really fast and just works out of the box.

I love this external drive. It's fast, small, and reliable (thus far). No set up was required. It was instantly recognized by my Windows-based computer and allowed me to easily backup my precious family photos/videos as well as sensitive documents. I picked up a great little form-fitting case off an auction site so it's secure when not in use.

So far so good, though. I got this to expand my storage on my PS4 and, so far, it has worked perfectly.The size is amazing. I can stick this in a pocket easily. It's smaller than a credit card and my wallet is thicker than this thing. It comes with a USB 3 to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-C cable. So you'd think if you have a USB-C capable computer you'd use it and I almost always do but there are times when I have both my USB-C ports taken up so I'll use a USB-C hub to connect this drive with my other external devices. I only do this in cases where speed is not as important and I can afford USB 3 speeds. Usually this is when I'm backing up the work I'm doing on the T7 to another external HDD that is only capable of USB 3 speeds. There's no benefit to be had when you're transferring files to or from a USB 3 drive and a USB-C drive. You're limited to the slowest link in your chain. Now, when I do music production I make sure to keep a USB-C port free for this drive and the speeds are so fast that it's as if I'm working off my internal SSD. Almost no noticeable difference in speed at all.

The Samsung external SSD works as advertised. The drive is small enough to be extremely portable but has enough capacity to hold all my files including videos, audio, and various other files. I've have also been very pleased with the drive's speed and performance. Will be buying a few more for my family members.

The T7 is very small and portable, easy to put in my briefcase when traveling. Yet is is large enough to hold all the photos that I have taken. It is an advantage to not require a power block to use the drive. The solid state platform provides greater speed and reliability.

I have the generation one now I have generation two which is considerably faster I love its small size using it for a back up drive for all my files and pictures my first drive has worked flawlessly for the two years that I have owned it and I'm sure the new one will do the same with a much faster back up speed

Great little external hard drive. Have had for a while and still works well.

Reliable and fast. It’s also pretty tough in a metal case. Very small. Easy to interface with USB C port. I have used the predecessor T3 model for 3 years and it’s amazing as well. For a bit less than $100 for half a terabyte, this is a drive is well priced and performs as good as described.

The best out there. Super thin and light. Doesn’t take up any room on the desk or when stored. Same form factor when buying more storage

Love this portable SSD. I used it for photography and video, using Lightroom and Premiere and it doesn't overheat and have not noticed any lag. I'm no expert in the specs or benchmarks, but I love this thing and planning on getting the 1TB soon.

This high capacity, easily pocketable storage device is great. Access to stored files is fast and I like that I can access the stored files (mostly photos) with all my different devices (PC, phones, chromebook). Portable, durable and good looking. No regrets.

I found the T7 500GB (Blue) to be fantastic for backing up my files and quickly transferring media files. I had around 350GB of data to backup and was able to get an average of about 750 MBps (had both small files and large media files). Pros: - Super small and lightweight - Excellent speeds (vastly outperforms HDDs) - Two cables provided (USB-C to USB-C & USB-C to USB-A) Cons: - Software for encryption requires installation on each computer you wish to unlock drive on (only if you encrypt using Samsung's software) - Software requires admin rights on computer to run (you may not be able to use the drive on a public computer if encrypted)

Amazing and a must buy SSD drive. Its very compact almost like the size of a credit card and very less weight. I highly recommend if someone wants to give a try , u can buy without hesitation and its super fast when we copy the files.
