Super fast, don’t worry about dropping it and losing everything, works on old and new laptops, everything I do with it adds up. Now if they had a 16TB super fast like this, that would be perfect. I use this often for work and never have any trouble.

With USB 3.2 Gen 2 support, it delivers transfer speeds up to 1,050MB/s read and 1,000MB/s write, making it ideal for large files, gaming libraries, or creative workflows. Very nice drive. Easy to setup and use with password protection. Works well with Windows 11. One drawback and it may be a lack of understanding on my part but I haven't been able to use 2 of these drives at the same time.

Slim, fast transfer speeds, and great color. Love that drive included a C to C and USB to C cables. Prefect for someone like me who can easily switch between my older laptop to my newer desktop/phone to easily store photos and documents. Wish I would have made this purchase sooner.

This is a reliable and high speed storage solution to keep up with my storge needs. The T7 Shield's lightning-fast data transfer speeds, boasting up to 1050MB/s, make file transfers a breeze.

Just purchased yesterday. Attached to my 12 gen. I-7 computers' USB-C, and though I'm not clocking, it seems to run as fast as my internal SSD! Surprisingly small size makes it extremely portable. Hoping for 5 yr. life expectancy for archives. Good price/good value!

My wife plugged this into her 8 year old computer to back up her pictures. After a few minutes she says "I don't think it is working. I tried coping my file over and it looked like it started. But now it is not showing any progress." That's because it had copied all the data over 10X faster than expected!!!! A bit pricey but better than a spinning disk any day.

Bought so I could play BG3 on my laptop - though it has only been a few weeks, it has worked well so far! Before buying, I worried using an external drive would cause some lag in-game; I'm excited to say everything is running smoothly and quickly! I've got over 40 hours of gaming on BG3 with no issues. My whole Steam library has been moved onto the Samsung external drive to free up space. I wish I had bought something like this earlier.
My laptop only has one USB port, which I use for my wireless mouse...so it's a lifesaver that this external drive comes with both a Type C-to-C and Type C-to-A wire! It meant I could uses the C-to-C cable to attach the external drive, and still have my USB port free to use my mouse!

So small and super fast! I use this to hold the imagery for making maps (extremely large files). There isn't any hesitation when I move the map and everything has to regenerate. Would definitely buy again!

The best money can buy! Great price, but most importantly, super reliable and dependable. The read/write speed is very fast and I use these on all my photo/video production projects. Has never failed me! Highly recommend.

This has been a revolutionary purchase for me. I needed a place to store large video files that were consuming valuable hard drive space and preventing me from editing or transferring new files onto my laptop. This will store almost 2 years of files, and I am very satisfied with how easy it was to format and set up.
One word of caution, I initially formatted the drive in FAT and it was incapable of transferring files larger than 4GB, so if you are dealing with files that large, or larger, don't forget to format into XFAT from the beginning and save yourself the hassle of having to pull everything off the drive and reformat it.
All in all it was a great drive and if I ever need another external, I will be picking us another T7 Shield.

I use this drive to store all of my video games on and I am happy with both the speed of the drive and the capacity. My games load up quick and I haven't had any issue during game play. The 4TB size means I have plenty of storage space for my existing and future games.

Great speed and excellent performance. Solid on the road as a backup for anything that connects to USB C, l cannot look back, and also use on on Blackmagic 6k Pro for recording. That requires a better cable to manage power issues but solid drive all round.
