This lightweight equipment is just what I needed to back up everything on my computer including games and keep it safe including, family photos and my virus protection. The durability and color of this product blend right into my desktop's surroundings.

So much faster than a USB 3.0 hard disc drive (HDD). When copying large amounts of data (tens to hundreds of GB of video files), this is a huge advantage. And the addition of IP65 dust and water resistance and more protection if dropped are very nice features for my usual settings of use.

Samsung t7 Shield 2tb. I have over 6000 photos on this external hard drive in 2 years and I've only used 489 gb. Not a full TB yet. And they are all very large size files. I like the grooves in the drive so when you pick it up it doesn't feel like it's going to slide out of your hand. Photos you want to get off your camera and or phones go on this as added back up. Very worth it.

The Samsung - T7 Shield 2TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Rugged SSD IP65 Water Resistant - (Black) is a very good external hard drive for storing mega documents and photos. Able to retrieve easily and accurately. I would recommend this product.

Amazing ssd drive. I have it plugged into my kid’s ps5 and it barely heats up with hours of use. Holds a ton of games, and ps4 games can be played directly from this external memory on the PS5

I bought this for my nephew to use for his summer internship in marketing/photojournalism. He will only use this type of external storage device. This particular one was purchased because the one his parents purchased for him has failed twice. This one is working well and there have been no lost files to date. It has plenty of storage, and should last a while depending on the number of photos and other content being stored.

I can always trust these Samsung drives to take my work on the go and as a backup location. However, if you are working with higher bitrate video files off of this drive, prepare for some speed issues. A proxy workflow easily solves this problem.

Wonderful device. Copied almost two TB to this drive and and an older T5 (also a great drive) but this one beat the older one easily in speed. Very fast, feels solid, well protected. I have not used any of the samsung software yet, it came formatted as exfat and worked on both my mac and PC.

I am in the process of gathering and organizing a boat load of Media. I purchased two of these 2 TB drives. I have always been a fan of Samsung drives=, but these T7 drives are amazing. Small, easy to carry. They are lightning fast as far a data transfer, which has made this project much easier and faster. If you are looking for a solid SSD solution, you will not go wrong here.
