Choppy streaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to stream movies to our iPads. I used non drm mp4s and streaming was choppy and movies would keep stopping. Great idea but streaming was not very good.

Ultra Portable, Reliable Network Storage Solution

Rechargeable self contained convenience. The SanDisk Media Drive app is another essential tool that allows you to monitor (see battery life, storage capacity + remaining and view capacity of the optional SD card for storage expansion) and manage (setup your network) your drive. The ability to password protect this small package is another plus which keeps your data secure.

Doesn't work with iOS 8

However, it currently will not play videos that are played on an iOS 8 device, pretty much making it nothing more than an expensive storage device. I should have researched this better before buying as it has been an issue for more than 2 months without a resolution. Bought this for a cross country car trip but returning it tomorrow. Very disappointing.
