This was another item to make our house smart and we love it easy to install and set up

I’m barely a DIYer but this was easy to install and setup. Linked it to Alexa without issues.

This lock is great. Very sleek looking. I only wish is was compatible with Apple HomeKit.

I am very upset about wasting $200 and do not understand the positive reviews at all. In theory, the lock is easy to install. The instructions are easy to follow. However, my lock did not work out of the box. I have installed several keyless locks so I know the routine. I tried resetting to factory settings, but it wouldn't even do that. Called Schlage for help and was on hold for about 40 minutes before talking to someone. Finally was able to get the lock installed with the help of customer service, but they still could not get the lock to work on the WiFi. It is not a signal problem. Because I had gone through so much time and money and effort to get it installed, I decided I would just keep it and not deal with the WiFi issue. However, to my horror, when I read the instructions to program the codes, I read that if you use the Schlage App, it overrides the ability to use PIN codes on the lock. So, you have to choose between using the keypad and using the app to unlock your door? Who on Earth would agree to that!? So, if I forget my phone or the battery died, the lock is useless. And, you have to force everyone who has access to your house, like your dog walker, to download the app. Neither Best Buy nor Schlage mention this severe limitation anywhere in the product description. This fact is only mentioned in a sentence at the very back of the installation process. So, not in the front of the guide, whereby allowing me to decide if I even wanted to install the product at all. So, between not being able to get the lock to work on the Wifi, despite on the phone at length with Schlage, and being forced to choose between the app and the keypad, I decided to return the lock. I take the whole thing apart again, pack it up and return it to Best Buy. As if my entire experience wasn't bad enough and a Saturday afternoon wasted trying to get the lock to work, Best Buy tells me that it is past the return policy period and because I had opened the product, (well, of course I did), the could do NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING for me. Not even store credit. So, $200 later and I no new lock, wasted exorbitant amounts of time on this product and walked away with nothing. I am totally disgusted. I hope others heed my warning and realize that a product with a severe limitation that forces you to choose between the keypad and the app is not acceptable.

The apps records who accessed and entered your house, battery life is amazing, simple installation

Does everything it says it does, I just wish it beeped every time the door opened and closed like previous models. It also takes a little bit for the app to open and show status of the lock.

Purchased this so I didn’t have to keep track of keys for our shed all the time! Lol

Easy to install. Comes with batteries. Installed in an older existing door without issues.

Cant live without it. Everyone has their own code no more keys.

Bought this lock for easy control from anywhere and it has Not disappointed.

I am happy with my purchase so far I. They should have the bottom included as well. It was hard to find a matching bottom part of the lock.

Love the WiFi access. We rent out a duplex so it is great to use.

The key did not unlock the lock so i had to have a key made to be able to open it. It works awesome with our phones and the keypad.

Out of the box it works well. Still haven’t figured out how to change and set temporary passwords. Not exactly user friendly.

Probably just an anomaly, but the electronic deadbolt didn't work out of the box. Schledge did ship replacement within a few days time. Great product once one was installed that worked.

Worked until it didn't in about 18 months. Kills batteries in 2 weeks. Exterior combination plate died too. Device is within 15 feet of the wifi router.
