    When I connected the Seagate external drive via USB to my iMac, no prompts were provided to facilitate the connection. The Seagate customer service representative was not familiar with Apple products and was not able to assist me in resolving my connection problem. I returned the Seagate external drive in exchange for a G Technology external drive.

    Hooked up to router, downloaded software, restarted and drive didn't show up in software, finder or time machine. Downloaded seatgate file software for Mac-pc issues, still no go. Lots of restarts and tinkering made no difference, returned the same day. May work great hooked directly to Mac or for PC network but not for my network w Macs...
