Rock solid storage. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Great for storing my photos. When you shot raw you use up a lot of storage space. For the price you can't beat this hard drive.

Excellent value and works wonderfully. Was easy to re-program for Mac. Have had zero issues with it so far. Really like the password protect feature. I believe I bought this on sale, but after looking at 6 different models of an 8 TB external hard drive and reading all of the reviews, this one came out on top.

Plugged it into my Mac and PC it works great. I formatted to fat32. I can transfer my files back-and-forth between both of my computers with ease and have plenty of space for storage. I had a older model that still works and is running out of space so I Needed a new one.

This drive works as needed. Just plug and play. It requires power cord because of the size, but the size is what I needed for backup.

I save a lot of raw files for bird photography so I needed the disk space so I got this external hard drive for that purpose. It is easy to install and just simply plug and play. It is a bit big though but for the capacity of 8 TB, that should be okay.

Does what i needed it to, use it to store older video projects, footage, and other media i may need for later projects. Easy plug and play, though it is powered separately.

Has large storage capacity. A reasonably fast drive for backup of valuable documents and photos. Much less expensive than an SSD with this capacity.

Was not immediately recognized as USB storage by my NAS but once I created a Volume, it saw the whole drive. Really no user instructions provided. Seems to be working fine, and very fast, even just over USB.

Wanted to get a backup drive that would hold several systems. The 8TB seemed to be appropriate for the amount of data I needed for now, Not only that, it was on sale. So far, so good.

Lots of space to store my videos. Very easy to set up and use.

Purchased for work files that are important. This space is bigger than what I needed but I feel better knowing I am able to not run out of space for my files. Just what I needed speed, spacious , security and safety.
