You cannot boot and play series x/s games from here, but I have an xbox one s as well and as a storage option is not a bad choice.

Well it def HOLDS the games lol but does not work as advertised. I purchased so my son could add more games for his xbox series s but the games are not playable once moved to this hard drive which is a bummer

Good and very useful, went into a deep dive before buying this product . I needed additional storage for my Xbox s but realized it would not support the new gen games but for the price point and the amount of old gen games I have and play it ended up working out. Very easy to install and good way of storing my old gen games that I play while keeping my storage in the Xbox open for any new gen games I would want to get.

We have the Xbox x with 1TB storage. We were constantly having to delete games to add new games. Added this drive to add additional storage. This was very easy to setup and works great. We no longer have to worry about deleting games.

I purchased this for my son's Xbox Series S. He set it up in less than 5 minutes. Works great so far and now he can download more games.
