Brought this back an got a Iroomba way better than the shark. Dont buy

Haven't had a chance to use the Vacuum yet, it's not working so the company is sending out new parts.

Its an OK vacuum.. constant clogs. Vacuums alright, if you just like to run over your floors daily.

Does not work with either my phone or my router that are both 5ghz.

I used the vacuum on hardwood, vinyl and carpet flooring, all on the same level of the home. There's one dog in the home. Here's what I found: 1. The vacuum was very easy to set up right out of the box. 2. The app is great in allowing the user to schedule a cleaning session, notify of problem when vacuuming (such as having to shut down due to a problem), begin and end vacuum sessions remotely. 3. The unit had no problem going from hardwood to area rug and back again. 4. When it encountered an obstacle (wooden chair leg, couch, other furniture), it didn't damage it when it contacted it. It did, however, dislodge a piece of baseboard flooring that bridged from hardwood to laminate flooring in a doorway between rooms. It was running when I was not home at the time. 5. It's got great suction power and the Shark emptied the contents automatically into the base station, more than I would have expected on the first use, so it got a lot that I didn't even know was there. 6. The Shark will go wherever it's allowed to go. When I started it remotely, I forgot that the bedroom door was opened and it went into the bedroom and encountered the dog's cloth toy that it tried to vacuum up. That caused the vacuum to stop. It was easily removed and the Shark suffered no damage. The lesson is to make sure that the floor is clear of those sorts of things, including wires, cords, etc. 7. My experience with customer service was GREAT! The machine should have included magnetic strips to define areas where you don't want the Shark to go. These were not included. I called the number and within a minute or two, I was talking with a person who promptly ordered the missing part (at no charge) and shipped it. 8. Make use of the magnetic strips to keep the Shark from going where you don't want it to go and I suspect that all will be fine. I couldn't try out out to be sure, however. 9. The Shark does a fine job in tracking and covering the whole of the area to be cleaned. cautions: 1. Make sure that the floor is clear of debris that you don't want picked up or that would be too big for it to pick up (such as the stray sock under the bed, a dog toy, charger cord, etc.) 2. If you're going to have it run while you're away, I'd first make sure that it can safely get over the carpet/bare floor boundary, the transition zone between rooms, etc. prior to doing so. So far, it has impressed me greatly, The machine, the app and customer service have been great thus far.

Have more error messages than anything not very consistent cleaning it just does so so.

Said it had a mapping feature and does not even called shark a couple of times and they said I had not ran enough to be able to map. Call third time after 5 months and no mapping and they finally admit this model does not do that. Would have returned before too late now!!!

It is good in some ways & bad in some ways. Look the description carefully before buying.

Poor suction quality, TERRIBLE connectivity, easily gets caught on any and everything. Bought this as a secondary vacuum to go with my Roomba, and it's not even close to the same quality. Save your money and buy a Roomba.

This smart robot vac does a good job overall. We use the Shark in two ways: whole home mode; and manual mode. We used the smart home mapping feature for the first week with decent results, but did find areas that the Shark did not clean. It can tend to leave rooms early if doors are open or you have open hallways. It also seems to be all over the place rather than cleaning room-by-room. Still overall, did a fine job. We also use it in “manual” mode by picking it up, putting it in a room, and closing the door. Does fine in this mode. The app was easy to set up and use. It shows cleaning history and allows you to set a cleaning schedule by day and time (just be sure to remember that cords, clothes, and other obstacles are tucked away or blocked off). It also allows you to pick a vacuum mode (Eco, Regular, Power). We find that Power mode is essential if you want the Shark to pick up more dirt and pet hair. I like the Notification feature that sends you a message if the Shark gets stuck. One feature the Shark seems to be missing is a dirt sensor. Our Roomba will adjust its vacuum power by the amount of dirt it detects. It even goes back and forth over a dirty area until the sensor indicates the area is clean. The Roomba also provides a more effective clean overall. We ran the Shark in a room, followed by the Roomba. The Roomba was still able to pick up a whole bin full of hair and debris left behind by the Shark. This is consistent with our observations of the Shark, where it leaves behind visible dirt and hair quite often. The Shark does well transitioning from hard floors to area rugs. It does not get tangled in cords as much as the Roomba, and the Shark is MUCH quieter. The vacuum unload feature in the dock is great. You don’t have to empty a messy bin every hour. We have to empty the bin on the dock about once every three days (lots of pet hair). Overall, this is a very nice robot vacuum. Would like more suction and a dirt sensor. Otherwise, this Shark is worthy of your consideration.

Bought this to replace my Ecovacs T8+ which developed a problem with a drive wheel. First problem with the Shark was with the app. While trying to set up the app, put in the wrong password. Tried to reset and the reset failed. Called customer service and they couldn't solve the problem and sent me to technical support where they told me that my issue would be fixed in between 24 to 48 hours. Second problem was that, after 3 attempts at mapping, no map was created. Third problem is that there is no indication of where the robot is or where it has been. To find the robot, you have to push a button on the app and listen for a beep from the robot. Returning the Shark to Best Buy and going to buy the Ecovacs Deebot N8+.

I named her sharkeisha. That was my first mistake, the second was becoming attached to her because when she died it hurt. She wasn't really that good at cleaning anyways. I miss watching her run into things though.

It cleans fine, but there's no mapping at all. It is impossible to block rooms etc because of this "limitation". Funnily enough on the app there's no mention of this model not having a mapping function -- you have to call the support to learn this fact.

Brand new product that I couldn’t use because it never charged. I couldn’t even return it to the store because I had less than 20 days after my purchase to do it and since I was in the moving process that time expired So I followed the troubleshooting instructions but it didn’t work then, I called Shark’s customer service, they made me do the same thing through a video call to confirm that the device is defective and the only option they gave me was to wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement pack which supposedly is gonna fix the issue. Disappointed and my wife angry

Disappointed, I bought the best on the market first, since I had another shark product I wanted to have both from the same company, but the truth is that it is not at its best

This Shark - EZ Robot Vacuum is not as good as the previous Robot Vacuum that we had. It keeps stopping for us to clean it every time it runs. We did not have that problem with the other Shark Robot Vacuum.
